Trust me. Theres nothing to be nervous about. After you start working there and see just how easy it is and find out that most first timers are nervous too, you will wonder why you were so nervous in the first place:)

My phone interviewer was from food service because he noticed I had a bunch of food experience on my app. Food was not my first choice but I wanted the work and I did not regret it. Working in foods is the best!

Has anyone gotten a call from someone in merchandise? Like..for the ride photo.. or even for just a cashier at one of the shops? Thanks!!

Calls probably won't start till Monday as most of the non-union full timers have a 2 week vacation during the holidays.

Why am I so nervous and I worked there last year?? Ok so I havent gotten a call yet! My dreams to be a Johnny Rockets server has not happened yet!! :( Should I call them on Monday? or just wait patiently and hope and pray?

I'm nervous too, Christie and it's my third year - well I'm mainly just excited. Don't worry about not having gotten a call yet - remember, the managers don't even get back until Monday, give it some more time. I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to get Johnny Rockets, especially because you are a returning employee, and they get first choice. Good luck :)

Christie, do you have any serving experience? Delilah (the silver tag at Rockets) has a tendency to place new people in other positions first. You may not be a server right away, especially if you don't have serving experience, but make sure you make it clear to her after being there for a few weeks or so as a hostess or FDR or BUD that you want to serve. Trust me I know what I’m talking about. I lived in Château Homo (1007) with a lot of people who were servers last year at Johnny Rockets. My boyfriend was the double blue there last year who worked right under Delilah. I might be a server at Johnny Rockets next year because I’m serving at one up in East Lansing and the servers at Johnny Rockets make so much money its sick. It just depends on what I get offered this year in rides.
