Pepsi or Coke for Paramount Parks?

I wonder that. Will Coke replace to Pepsi?

I think Coke will be replaced. Based on history with Cedar Fair, when they took over Geauga Lake in 2004, they replaced Coke with Pepsi. I think Pepsi is a sponser of the entire company. Someone correct me if I'm incorrect.

I suspect CF will try to renegotiate its contract with Pepsi, depending on the language and specifics of their agreement. They have a lot more market muscle suddenly, and I'm sure they won't hesitate to use it.

I don't think the Paramount Chain will stay Coke...Just remember when CF bought SFWOA they were under contract with Coke, but now Pepsi is served! Anything can happen.

I like pepsi.. but i like sprite a lot more than mist.

I agree... I am a lot more of a Pepsi fan than Coke. Although, my vote likely shouldn't be included since I never drink pop. :)

I was at kings island on the final weekend and asked

my contact at the park - will kings island

change to pepsi. The answer , i recieved was they

were looking into having both soft drinks. I can't

imagine either company agreeing to that arrangement.

The number one thing I love about going to the States is Sierra Mist. I don't understand why we don't have it in Canada. Whenever I get a drink with a meal at CP I always get a nice cold Sierra Mist. I prefer Coke over Pepsi in general, but I love me some Sierra Mist.

Just because Pepsi is at the Cedar Fair parks doesn't mean they won't switch the CF parks to Coke- whichover company makes the better offer is the one they'll go to. Geauga switched to Pepsi simply because it was one park. We're talking about changing the drinks at five parks (six if you count Bofante). I wouldn't be surprised if they kept Pepsi at the Cedar Fair parks and Coke at the Paramount parks atleast for a couple seasons

I wish they'd switch everyone over to Coke. That's one of the things I dislike about Cedar Fair. But, I guess I should be happy because I never spend a cent on soda at their parks. I just get the free water since I won't drink Pepsi.

IMO there is no way they would offer both. I work at a place that has 2 coke and 2 pepsi machines. Both coke and pepsi has offered pretty good deals on being the "exclusive" soda.

so, I really cant see Cedar Fair not taking that deal. if they did, to make the profit that they do now they would have to charge like $4.50 a bottle!

Does anyone know when the contract with Pepsi expires? How often do they put it out for bid? If they can, I would think they would bid it again because of the added buying power.

My college is a Coke-sponsored school. I'm a pepsi fan but I actually like it because it keeps me away from the soda... I mean pop! ;)

I was brought up on Pepsi, and will always be a Pepsi fan. I will drink Coke but ONLY Coke from a fountian. I hate the taste of Coke from a can or bottle......I dont know why. Sprite, Mountian Dew, Sierra Mist, and all those other ones (except Root Beer, and Dr Pepper) are on my no drink list as well....again, for reasons unknown.

Plus, an odd thing happened on one my trips concerning Pepsi. When I was at the park friday the 20th, my friend and I were in Raptors line and came up to the vends when we noticed that there were 2 Pepsi bottles just sitting in the dispenser! It seemed that nobody had put in money and we even waited a minute to see if anyone would take them...but they never did, so we took them! It turns out that it was dispensing bottles every few minutes and there was like 20 people in line that had snatched bottles from the same machine!!

Oh yeah, and the machine was dispensing money too!!!:)
