How tall is Skyscraper?

Well it just so happens I am watching a show on the Travel Channel now and they are featuring Sky Scraper (while at Dorney). The show states that the ride is 180 feet. So that makes it 28 feet taller then the launch towers on Rip Cord.

I know this isn't directly related but does Ripcords Admission price ever = $5.00?

I have seen the one at Dorney park in 2004. I remember watching it a little, and then we forgot about it once we went into the park and became interested in the coasters and Hang Time. :)

They had a really good deal to combine Rip Cord and Vertigo. I don't remember the price, but it was quite a bargain. I would hope they look into doing the same thing with Skyscraper.

Your first assignment is some video research.

I love that movie.:)

That wasn't my original plan for makeup. I had a latex mask, but it wasn't working out right, so I decided to do good ol face paint.

Does anyone have an idea of why they didn't just wait and announce all of their 2008 projects at the same time?

4 summers of employment in ride operations does stuff to you.

Skyscraper is 160 feet at its highest point, with speeds of approximate 55MPH.

8 feet taller than Ripcord.

The trampolines made plenty of money. It was 7 dollars for 2 minutes. It didn't even cost them 7 dollars an hour to operate them. The maintenance guys get paid anyway and the only expensive thing they replaced was the winches like once. The rubber bands probably aren't that expensive when you buy them in the quantities that I'm sure cedar point did.

I'm not sure if I would ever pay to ride RipCord. The two times I took a ride, I was lucky enough to know someone with a free voucher. It's fun, but not $15+ fun.
