On-Ride Photo

Tom are you just referring to Cedar Point? Because the Beast at Kings Island has two cams and I think SOB does too.
The Beast at Kings Island does not have two cameras and neither does SOB. The only photo on The Beast is on the first chain-lift hill. The only photo on SOB is right before the first chain-lift hill. If you can prove me wrong, go for it, but I've ridden both rides several times.

I think a shot looking at the ground when you are going up would be cool. They could then have the other shot on the launch or the finish line.

Also, my last PKI trip was in 1999, but I'm pretty sure Beast's camera is not on the chain lift. I seem to recall it being around the big hilix finale.

"If you're standing in an uncomfortable position, that means you are in the right position because you are riding Mantis!" - Mantis ride op doing spiels on closing day.

I think they would put the cameras in the most practical location....One camera shortly after the launch, Before the pull-up. The second one After the pull-out, Before the Brake run. I doubt they would put the cameras on the tower itself.

NYC Subways, The next best thing to riding roller coasters.

And Big D is right once again. At least, that's where I think they'll be too. And no, there is not a camera before the helixes on The Beast. It is the very first drop. I go there at least 15 times a year.

I heard there will be 2 cameras. Like a before and after or somthing.

Really crashoverride? I had no idea! Thanks!

Oy, don't you read ahead of you before you post, crashoverride? If you would look only 9 messages ahead of you, you would see the actual interview posted. It's not like the "Cedar Point is building for the future!" topic that had 50-odd pages to read through, it's nine stinkin' messages. You're just taking up space. Although, in retrospect, I suppose I am too, right now...

Wise men say, a world without coasters is monotony.

Yes, AS, but you're space actually has purpose.
