On my contract, next to where it said with a typewriter 202 Arcade Mechanic, it also said Supervisor in typwriter. Does that mean that I will be Double Blue? This will be my first year there and my first time even to visit the park. Will someone please clarify this for me? thanks.

As far as I know in the past they have all been red tags..Unless they changed something for this season..Also being your first year I doubt if your going to be starting off as a supervisor..

You know, you could always call them on Monday. No one here is going to know why that's on your contract.

Maybe you'll be a blue, but I doubt you'll get a double blue if you didn't know you would have one by now. That's a pretty big deal.

Yup. It says "You have been accepted for work as: ..." whatever. That doesn't mean you're a double blue though. Call whoever your boss is or HR.

I am almost positive all arcade machanics are double blue. One of my mangers came from there, and I can remember someone saying he was never a red tag because every arcade mechanic is a double blue. It may be because you have to come in with special skills, or it may have something to do with the pay rate in HR computers.. I dont really know why, I just think they all get to be double blues..

Dont any previous Arcade Mechanics visit this site? well yeah I did get an email from a guy who was a mechanic in 89,90,and 91, but he said that back then the tags were different. I just want to know if I will be Blue or Double blue or just red like everyone else.

Red Tag. I have known Arcade Mechanics in the past, they have had Red Tags. Just like any other seasonal maintenance employee, Red Tag. This could have changed this year, but referring back to previous years, Red Tag. But even if you were to be a double blue, its only your first name. No more first and last names on name tags. It would look like a Team Leader tag.

What is the difference between tags?

Supervisors will still have their first and last name on their tag while the team leaders only have their first name on it. I haven't heard of any changes to this.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Red can also mean that they're 17, a High School Graduate, and living in housing. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's right. If I recall correctly, in either late 2002 or early 2003 (During some of the time I was working Thunder Canyon) a guy that worked the Stockade employee food stand got fired for having a relationship with someone who was a red tag, but was 17.
