On linking to photos

I'm going to just cut to the chase here. If you post a link to photos that were not authorized by the park or taken during the season, I'll bounce you. I don't care how right or wrong you think it is.

So you're probably thinking I'm some big jerk. Am I? Someone drove around and took some photos. Just because they got away with it doesn't mean it's right. You can bet your season pass that if you get caught, they will bust you. How do I know? Because I asked.

This is the kind of crap that makes parks not want to work with enthusiasts, and makes it harder to get legitimate construction tours or in-season events established.

OK sorry Jeff, I didn't know that posting those links was going to be that big of deal, but I see what you are getting at.

Everybody listen to Jeff, cause he basically saved my ass last year when I took REALLY pictures of WT Construction, so he's not trying to be a prick or anything. It's for you own good!

I thoroughly agree that you can do whatever you want to insure that this site is run to your standards and requirements. And if you have to make up new rules from time to time, so be it. Anybody who wants to b*tch about their right to free speech can write a letter to the newspaper. I have to admit that living only about 25 minutes from the park has tempted me to run over there to try to snap off a few, but I think I'll reconsider. Maybe I'll stay home to watch the Browns this afternoon.

On a side note, I thought I read a post in this topic that poopmypants has been banned. I thought I read it a few minutes ago and now the post seems to have disappeared. What happened? He seemed like such a nice boy. (Yeah, right!)

Even though i never post on this site... I read the posts almost everyday. LOL but u guys think Jeff is a God or something. He says don't post pictures illegally or watever and you are like yes master!! Who cares what he say... its still pictures and thats all we want...

I don't think Jeff is God. Jerry Garcia is God. Or was, until he OD'd on smack. I think the position is open now.

However, GTTP is Jeff's football, and anytime he wants, he can take it and go home. He doesn't have to let us play.

Jeff won't allow "illegal" pics to be posted on HIS website because he doesn't want to tick off the CP people. When you have a trust relationship with a park, why would you want to screw that up? He's not playing God, he's playing by the rules, something it appears some people don't believe in.

Just in case you haven't figured this out yet, Jeff is as close to God as you'll find on this website when it comes to how things are to be done. What do you think "Webmaster/GTTP" means? I certainly hope your parents teach you a little more respect than your post is showing.

He has friends at the park who tell have him keep things off the site. He has a good relationship with the park, so why would he tarnish that?
