Fear Faire 2010-2011
congrats! I most likely WON'T be back to FZ this year since I'll be out of state probably. most of the FZ crew has already returned I believe. If you PM me I can add you to the screamster group (if you aren't already in there) on facebook since most people have been posting if they have moved zones and when they are going to training and such.

S.T.A. - died with the Fright Zone
TL of Terror Island again. Where else would this salty sea dog go? :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
As your TL last year and this coming year, I should probably know who you are already haha
Where were you at last year, that would be the best way for me to remember.

I thought about switching zones, but I really think the zone has great potential to be great. It seems to be the zone that's forgotten.. I want to change that I want people to come for Fear Faire just as much as Fright Zone and Terror Island. I know we can do it I hope I can inspire everyone else to feel the same!

I was in fear faire for its first two years its a great zone, went down hill during/after its second year, and then got some changes and really came back. glad to see people want to stay there.

Last year it seemed to start off slow, than they lit a fire under their asses and i think it got a huge improvement! I really think if we can get that fire lit early and get better as the season goes on we can have a great zone!

Fear Faire 2010-2011
Fear Faire has a huge amount of potential. The layout is good (way better now than it used to be) and they're finally retaining some veterans from year to year. I was TL there in 07, and the biggest problem in my opinion was just getting guests in the zone. So many people walk by on the way out of the park every night, but most never bother to go through the zone. If someone figures out how to get more traffic into that area, it will go a long way.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you

What happened last year that caused a slow start will not happen again.
Fire will be lit early I promise that :-D
P.S. I figured out who you were Kevin, glad to have you back!
If you don't know already I am the chicken/fruit/basket case/other random props/crazy TL from last year.

yea I was the guy by the stretching rack had a lot of fun! I am hoping for a better costume and makeup this year.. I was a bit disappointed with what i had last year but I still made it work.
you were the guy with the weird vagina neck thing? lol I remember one rainy night last year sneaking behind a group in Cedar Point rain gear, when I just barely caught a sight of your mask under a hood. even took me off guard lol I thought that was a really genius idea. made me wish I had thought of it!

Assuming you're referring to the mask I think you're referring to, that might be the funniest thing ever. :)

Yes that was me with the vagina neck that one night, no I was not in the Poncho that night, that was someone from FZ who was visting that night.
That vagina neck was also stolen from someone in club blood who I saw had one.
The fact that you don't remember much of me means you were caught up in your own scaring and makes me happy :-D

lol yes, a lot of it blurs together, pain, sweat, fog, lights, noise, and endless lines of victims errr guests entering into my realm :)
lol my years of theater lets me separate myself from a character I never remember much form being on stage and this is kinda the same thing.
or and more likely its just that I'm the type of person that can't remember what I had for dinner last night lol.

ha. I'm a theatre tech/actor etc myself. and Spiro has become such an extension of myself and the side of me I can't ever let out in my day to day life. It's like we said in scare school, I've got his voice, but I have a hell of a time actually doing it and the walk right till the mask hits my face. but I DEFINITELY know that Spiro is a huge part of me and I'm a huge part of him, it's kind of like Dexter if you've ever seen the show. He's just my dark passenger. I finally found out for sure I won't be back this year... or likely ever, thanks to a new kick ass job, but I WILL be there tomorrow to say goodbye to my fellow monsters

Hey everyone. I accepted my job offer for a screamster yesterday. I'll be in Fear Faire and I'm really pumped. This is going be my first year as a screamster. :)
I'm glad to see how many are returning to the Faire this year, and welcome Twister 90. You'll have the time of your life, and once you get a character developed, that persona really becomes a part of you, like Josh said. Congratulations Josh on your new job, FZ isn't going to be the same without you there.
Don't call me a "scare actor", I'm a Screamster

What happens at ScreamSchool? Do they break us up into individual zones and houses?
^ you learn the rules and regulations of working in the park, and a few basic scare techniques.

It was good seeing you, even though I had no idea it was the last time. Good luck on the new job.
Scare School (aka your training/processing in date) will teach you the basic techniques. Dress rehearsal (September 15th for the outdoor zones) will get you into your individual zones with full lights and fog practicing with the help of your team leaders and other veterans.
