If not, it'll give the ride operators a tip for a well-done ride.

Or a knot on the top of their head.
Goodbye MrScott
John
My favorite memory was testing the main gatehouse gates during the morning before opening and trapping about 200+ plus people on the Mantis side and 2 on the Millennium side. I always had a secret laugh about it. What was even better was having to put them dwn when the train completed its first round in the morning and people had to wait. Man, I'm sick critter.

-Frontier Lift at night was definitely awesome. I have missed that for years.
-The old, original hotel breakers. Not the greatest rooms, but the feeling of stepping back in time added much to the CP experience.
-The silver dollar cafe before it was remodeled around '94, and the player piano that was in there way back when.
-Playing "Magnum-ball" in the Magnum queue its first year (89). Remember the inflatable balls, the rowdy crowds, and the frustrated rent-a-cops?
-Riding Magnum at night before the Sandcastle was built, and before Soak City was expanded. Second hill and beyond was pitch black and there was nothing but trees and water back there.
-The comet-strobe lights on Magnum's lift its first couple of seasons.
-Iron Dragon at night through the woods before they built Mantis and TTD.
-When the park had a lot more scenic, wooded areas. This includes the quiet stroll along the lagoon where TTD is now.
-The old-fashioned flavor that used to be more prevalent in the park, especially in FT.
-Have to mention the obvious-WWL. Many a fond childhood memory on that ride. Feels like I've lost an old friend.
-MS its first year, before the trims on drop 1.
-Blue Streak with the original trains and manual brakes.
-The old paddle-wheel cruisers that circled the entire lagoons from where Coasters is now.
-Shoot the Rapids and Mill Race.
-Strolling the original shoreline walkway from Magnum to Sandcastle, before it was washed away and rebuilt several years back. Used to be wooded with little observation areas.
-Breakfast in the old Coffee House at Breakers back in the 70's and early 80's. Before they remodeled it, it was like going back in time.
-Jungle Larry's African Safari. Scenic, and added variety to the park's offerings. And, it harkened back to a day where it was OK to refer to something nicely themed to African lands and African animals as African without offending hyphenated Africans.
-Halloweekends up until just a couple of years ago, back when it seems there was a lot more fog along the Fright Zone, and more colored (red-filtered) lights throughout the front of the park.
-The dolphins and Oceana.
-The Island Rocket offering direct service from CP Marina to Put-In-Bay
-The Boathouse restaurant. I liked the atmosphere and the food much better than Famous Dave's.
-OK, dating back to my childhood, I miss that old carousel in FT that had the drums and instruments in the center playing themselves. Don't know why, but that thing fascinated me when I was little.
-Shooters bar and restaurant at the former Radisson Harbour.
-When the park had less tacky colors. New Gemini station paint job-horrendous. Mantis colors-hideous. MF, Maggie, WT- very nice. Iron Dragon paint- liked the old better, it was more natural, but the new look has grown on me.
-Wildcat when it was located near where DT is now, and when it was painted red. For some reason, I've never liked the new colors, nor it's current location.
-The Coliseum. While its day as a ballroom and famous venue for live broadcasts of old jazz greats was before my time, it sure would be nice if they painted the whole thing natural colors, facaded the ugly cinder block look, and reopened the old art-deco ballroom, restored as it was back in the day.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
The view from the causeway coming to the park
Walking through the front entrance, seeing the carousel and hearing the music.
The cool breeze coming off the lake on Sky Ride
Millennium Force lit up at night
Riding around through the trees on WWL (RIP)
The slower pace of Frontier Town
Enjoying the scenes on CP&LERR and Paddlewheel Excursions
My first Halloweekends last year, riding the coasters in sub 50 degree weather with high winds (quite exhilerating)
Looking at the Colliseum and picturing how it would have looked in 1906 with the new amusement circle.
A waffle cone from Sweet Tooth
Eating at Macaronis
The different music from around the park
Sitting at the top of Power Tower, waiting to drop.
Being in awe of Magnum on my first ever trip in 1989.
I'm sure as soon as I hit "submit reply" I'll think of 10 more, but oh well.
