Next Demolished/Razed rides

I don't want this to happen soon but...
What is the next ride/rides that will be forever gone from CP? Any predictions?
Just curious.
Hopefully, the wimpy ones.

This is AMERICA'S ROLLAR COAST :)
I could see one of the spin and puke rides going for a better one. I could also seee some of Kiddy Kingdom going, because i've noticed some lonely days for those operators before. Probably because of the addition of Camp Snoopy, I'd think that would be enough for the little tikes.

I think Kiddy Kingdom will remain, though you may be right that one or two of the rides there could be removed. It makes good sense to keep a children's area for the front of the park. Possibly the Gemini Children's Area might be removed, since it is in the back and near Camp Snoopy, which would tend to be the more popular of those two. As for flat rides/others, I think CP is more likely to relocate rides rather than tear any down, thus making better use of the space available (yes, I know they're not running out of room - so why tear anything down if you're not? Use what you have!).

I can see one of these going. Trioka, Himalaya, or Schwabinchen. All these rides have been here well over 20 years and at times rarely see a whole lot of people on them anymore!!
I can really see the Mine Ride going, Something tells me that it's gonna happen. There is an unbelievable amount of room in the middle of that ride. Perfect location for a steel coaster of some sort too!
Rides can be buile over, under, and through other rides you know... Thunderbolt & Steel Phantom/Phantom's Revenge, Iron Dragon/Mantis are just two examples.

Iron Dragon and Mantis don't actually intersect/cross over one another. But Power Tower and Corkscrew would be a good example, not to mention Millennium Force and the Frontier Trail...

Why not just forget about removing anything and build between Mean Squeak and Gemini?

As for removing roller coasters? I don't see it happening, why would CP put their coaster record on the line? In case you've been living under a rock forever, CP LOVES their records. They do anything to keep them, I do mean ANYTHING.

As for flat rides, I see Ocean Motion being the next ride removed or moved into the new Boardwalk area.

THey won't put anything between MS and Gemini... THought we wnet over this.. too many park operations buildings hiding back there.. Safety.. First Aid cart parking, Planning and Development, Garbage drop off point..

Not to mention they'd have to move Boneville..

And they will NOT pull the Mine Ride... they don't tear out large rides..

I actually wouldent mind Disaster Transport leaving, and I think thats actually an option there considering.
I wish they'd just turn DT back into avalanche run. :)
You have to admit, sooner or later a coaster or larger ride is going to go. (damage, unfixable, who knows, etc.) Look at jumbo jet and mill race. Even if it is to make room for another big ride (aka raptor) CP might do it.
I agree with snoopy playground.
I hope they don't move Ocean Motion! I love it right where it is.
I LOVE BONEVILLE!

I don't think a midway between the Gemini and Mean Streak is that far-fetched. I'm not saying it will happen or would even be beneficial, but I certainly think it's plausible. I first heard the Gemini Midway extension rumor in mid 90's, so the idea has been around.

Snoopy's Playground?

What are you gonna do with it? Its in an odd spot, exposed and by walkways. It isnt that big and have you ever taken a child in there? The thing is crawling with kids and adults. My kid spent hours in there the few days I went, made friends.....somehow you have to something for the kids....I dont see any reason to scrap that place given the lack of size and location....The coliseum isnt going anwhere, either is Macaroni's - and its right in the middle of them.....

The Gemini Children's area - maybe....There are some rides that are seldom open and easy to move elsewhere....But again, that isnt enough area to put anything but a flat ride - new or moved....

With todays coasters, they could build over Mine Ride easy enough to not raze it and use the area....

as for Kiddie Kingdom - it is far superior to Camp Snoopy and the rides offered in both target different age & heights - so you cant really make the reach that one effects the other.....But in Kiddie Kingdom, there are some fair type rides that could be phased out and redesign the area.

The bad part of doing anything significant with kiddie kingdom is the repercussions on adults. Often one parent can attend to the little one and the other grab rides on DT, BS & Raptor and return quickly....I am pretty sure CP is aware of this and is unlikely to phase out KK significantly and jeopardize attracting the families....Breaker's Express seems to reinforce their willingness to cater towards families...
POWER TOWER BLASTER HOW COULD YOU?! There are SOME fans of DT you know! LOL ~_^ seriously though I do love rides like Troika and Schwabinchen, I doubt those would leave enough room for a decent ride. My bet is that they're gonna scrap WWL and in comes a themed water coaster (yeah right).

Also, I like Boneville, half the time I'm bored on those train rides at amusement parks, even the one at Disney World makes me snore, but I love going through Boneville at CP.

Just another reason they won't take out Mine Ride:

They just spent a quarter of a million dollars on a new control system for it in 2000.
