NEWS FLASH!!!! Track and supports sighted

Posting something you heard and saying something like, "Take it for what it's worth.." is way different that posting a brand new rumor and claiming it as fact.

yeah, but I'm not posting a rumor. this is what he said, and he has never lied before. this is the third ride he's worked on, so I believe it.

this is what i think. its going to be one complete circuit ride with two parts and two stations, one station on one end, and the other station on the other end. one part of the track will be one color, the other part will be another color. think of it sort of like an extreme monorail or something like that. you get on at one station, and you get off at the other station, and in between it will be really fun. does that make sense? think about it..

Hey, more pictures are up at virtual midway as of today. Things are really starting to look messy.

THE TRUTH: Went to CP this afternoon. Conclusion: the new ride's overall structure will be an extended "L" shape (just like a reverse freefall). No elements/ track going to Millenium island, sorry but I'll put $$ on this. Think S:TE meets Xcelerator). CP is doing a great job decoying everyone w/construction equipment on island. Read my original post (9/15/02 10:48PM)about no "building up". and the part about dirt being filled in w/new dock being built to accomodate new parallel footers where water once was. I'll explain 2 land bridges going to island currently to anyone that wants on later post. Other color of box track arriving later? Lots of straight track on site. The future: entrance to new ride by Iron Dragon C100 support pole and cueue lines between Power Tower and super Himalaya where lagoon is being drained/filled. A big middle finger to SFMM who this new coaster is being built to spite. Long live CP!!

Looking at the site last night I can say with 100 percent certainty that it will not be a reverse free fall. besides the fact that it has fixed brakes. The red and white track is attached to a curving section and you can even look at the tower and see exactly where it will be placed by checking out the attach points on the track.

Those aren't land bridges either rather they are damns put in so water can be pumped out of the lagoon and footers can be put in. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, I had it figured out two weeks ago before vertical construction started. The tower is obvioulsy for a Top Hat. you can tell this by seeing where the trak attach points are.

The area cleared is easily large enough for an expaned Xcelerator layout. Without ever going onto the island.

CPfan, just because there are no footers on the island (or anywhere else other than the launch/top hat area for that matter) does not mean that there will be none in the future. Right now they are clearing land for the whole ride but only preparing footers for the launch and pull out. It's way too early to "put $$ on" the fact that this will be the only area of the ride.

And by the way, the red and white track IS bolted together.

The red and white track is bolted together geez. It is one coaster. I saw it with my own two eyes. teher are pictures of it everywhere, check out virtual midway.

I'm also sure that CP has planned all along to put equipment on the island so they can confuse us. Why would they want to do that? They're going to go ahead and build this ride whether it has been announced or not. Maybe they are just storing things on the island, but I don't believe that to be true. CP has no reason to try and mislead us. They haven't yet. CP has done everything they're supposed to for this ride and the only thing they haven't done is announce this ride and let everyone know what it is so we can all stop speculating. CP is not trying to fool us because they would have no reason to do anything like that. It's not hard to tell that they are building something.

For WT someone screwed up and let the cat out of the bag. And then realizing they screwed up they tried to do damage control and confuse us. That was a fun day LOL.

Remember when it was first found it was Twister Cam. Only after it was posted on GTTP and CBuzz did they start changing it.

I really don't think they would go through the trouble of building land bridges and draining out part of the lagoon just to throw us off. It seems like that would be one long painful process, just to throw some people on some message boards off?? Also, I haven't seen it with my own to eyes, but that tower doesn't look all that large to have the top of the top hat go from one side to the other. Looks like you'd be pulling some major G's on that, if this IS going to be 400 feet. By the way, did kristina's "Large shipment of track" ever take place on the 16th?
