New working @ CP...QUESTIONSSSS!!!

You have to be careful with the cell phones though, because a lot of areas in Sandusky are black holes, and you won't be able to make calls with certain phones and plans. It's not too bad though. I even had to change my plan to a regional one so that I wouldn't get charged for roaming. That didn't really bother me though. After my first 2 seasons of dealing with the frustration of fighting to get a line out of commons, I refused to go back out there without a cell phone, and it has worked out really well. Just make sure you never leave it anywhere that someone you don't trust can get ahold of it. I just take mine to work with me (leave it in my backpack, of course) and charge it overnight when I'm sleeping, and use it as my alarm clock. That way, I know it won't get lost or stolen because it's always with me. Also, it's great to have to keep in touch with all of your other friends and coworkers outside of work, who probably also have cell phones of their own. It's definetley well worth it in my opinion!

I suggest the Cell Phone too! But like Becky said, make sure it is one that will work in Sandusky. Mine works every where there but in my dorm room! But as soon as I step outside, it works like a charm:)

If you do want internet access, get one of those free AOL trials. That's what I did last summer. I had an internship and had to e-mail reports in to my advisor every week. It was hard to get online because of the limited phone lines, but I managed.

Alot of the cell/dorm problems have to do with the placement of the various towers in Sandusky. I had the same problem and spent some time with the techs from the cell phone company till it was figured out.

Some of the buildings, depending on where you are adn which tower you're hitting, act like mountains and tunnels.

Mine would work next to my window but not 5 feet in the dorm. I was hitting a tower in towards Sandusky and having to go thought all of 700 and part of 800 to hit.

Step outside and I was golden.. on-point.. golden..
