Well look at it this way. If for some reason one of us miss a few days of capturing, the other will have it. :)

How do you even make a time-lapse? do you have to sit there all day and take a snapshot every 30-60 seconds?

You use software to save it at a set interval (in my case 30 seconds). Then you need another piece of software to stitch the pictures together into a movie.

Do the webcams on the CP site even update by themselves anymore? It seems, for me, that I need to manually reload the page.

I don't think they do. However with the software I use, you simply put in the direct url, and it does all the work for me.
