I was rather lucky to grab the 'eye-in-the-sky' picture today; I haven't had good luck with Space Spiral the last couple times that I've been in the park. Luckily, it was open for about an hour today.

Cp has 2 rocket cars that are used for halloween. Both are from the Geauga Lake ride and the third is in a personal collection.

looking forward to next years coaster, but kind of sad for me to see "avalance run" demolished, as it was the new ride my first year i worked at cp in 85

I posted a video on my YouTube of the demolition... well sort of. They aren't really demolishing anything. They just have some sort of machine going around and picking up scrap on the ground.

When they're done cleaning up the work site, maybe they could send that machine over to Aurora for a few days...

I was wondering the same thing. So whats better, a view of the lake and beach or a stand of trees?

OR..... a dip into the lake :)

The lake can be viewed quite well through trees.
