That was kinda like a "where's waldo" looking between those two pictures! Kinda fun actually, either that or I'm easily amused... wait, I think it's I'm easily amused

That "before" picture above was taken in August, so it wasn't before then.

So, what about dragon's trains?

Iron Dragon's Syrita Rocks :)

Obviously since they are being overhauled right now, like every other coaster train in the park, nobody has had a chance to see if they have been refurbished and/or repainted. (not directed towards you personally, Anonymous) Why do people ask questions to which no one has the answers?

but some do have the answer.. and I'm sure Walt saw the trains as he took those pictures, but didn't take pictures of them.

There is no conspiracy.. calm down..

Shut down. :)

When is the magnum gonna get painted? have they started it yet?
I think that the Raptor trains should be painted first....come now why are they purple???? There is no purple on the track.. Just green......LOL but that's just my opinion!
Shut down...huh? Did I mention anything about someone conspiring against someone else?

People have asked whether the trains have been painted multiple times here and over at Cbuzz, and yet nobody has answered the question. I figured that they weren't in plain view because if they were, the question would have been answered by now. If it's not some big secret, then why not answer their question?

When you look at the pictures it almost looks as if Iron Dragon has the same color paint as Top Thrill Dragster. I think the colors are really great. I have a question though. Are Iron Dragons Trains staying green?
Wow! A good question! I wonder why no one else asked that!

Do you even bother to try to read the thread before you post? I cut you some slack on the season pass question---which you could have answered for yourself by either browsing the park's web site or (gasp) using this horribly old-fashioned thing called the telephone to "call" the park. But, you only get one freebie with me per day.

Hello all.Guess we are all here counting down the days till opening day.
Anyway I was bored and thought I would make yet another useless post here:).
Regarding the new paint on the Iron Dragon. As happy as I am that she got her new coat of paint I feel as though they should of repainted her the same colors as before.
I feel the paint gives them their own identity ie:Millie in her blue and silver.Maggie in orange/silver.etc.By painting the dragon in almost the same color scheme as dragster I feel it takes abit away from her identity and now basically combines the two to look somewhat similar(I know different shade of yellow).Just wondering what other people are thinking of this(or maybe I should see a shrink?).Anyway back to the countdown :)

When I hear the name "Iron Dragon", the first two colors that come to mind certainly aren't red nor yellow...regardless of the shades.

I was hoping that if they were changing colors, that they would use something that represents "iron" and "dragons". Maybe black, green, aqua (like the trains had on them), and brushed aluminum paint. Oh well, at least it isn't rusty anymore.

I think there must be a specific reason why they chose to use colors so similar to Top Thrill Dragster. Maybe it was simply make the appearance of more activity in the area when Dragster isn't running. A novice guest wouldn't necessarily be able to differentiate between the two rides without closer inspection. They might see movement on a yellow and red track and think that Dragster is running, although it might not be. Heck, every year when we go to C.P., the people that I go with can't remember the correct names of the rides and what they do...and we have been every year for the last ten years.

Lord, not brushed aluminum...I get more than enough of that from OS-X...!

First thing I do after each Safari update is to shut that silly brushed metal look off...

.. not to mention the cost of it.. hehehe

Yeah I sounded dumb my last post because I didn't bother to read everyone's post in this thread. Anyway though I didn't realize Iron Dragon was getting painted this year. I agree with you Rotundra Chillin because you would think they would maybe keep the red track, but maybe go with greenish supports. A tan-like green, or olive green for example.

Maybe that's why Maggie hasn't been painted. The track is starting to look orange, so it will match TTD and ID better!

I always thought Gemini would look good painted white.

Corkscrew would look cool with pink track and pastle blue framing and supports! ;)
