New for 2014

The need to do something to the blue streak area. For 2014 they should connect it to celebration plaza add a new flat ride and relocate some flat rides to the new midway and add a family coaster. Then in 2015 there's is alot of room to build a big coaster an euro fighter or a premier rides launch coaster would fit best in that area. So they could build that area up In two years 2014 and 2015

^I personally think it would be the opposite. Maybe a dark ride in the old Pirate Ride building for 2014, with a major overhaul of the area in 2015. I don't see the park tackling 2 major projects in consecutive years but I could be wrong.

When tony said he won't post a picture of the first strip of paint on the midway, did he mean a ride getting re-painted or survey markings?

Survey markings.

I doubt it'll be anything big, but Mr. Clark kind of has me wondering with those survey markings...

^ Don't wonder too hard. The survey markings could be anything from a new light pole to a section of pavement to be removed. Of course, there is a chance it could be for a ride or building though.

Well if tony teased us about it, then it's not going to be a light post or new pavement. I think the survey markings would be around the coliseum if 2014 is a dark ride or by the blue streak area if 2014 has something to do with that area.

Wait. I just realized I teased 2014. Whoops!

I'm going to keep my eyes peeled (for survey markings) in one of two places: by the Cadillac Cars station or by the Good Time Theater. These two spots make the most sense.
I'm going again in the next week or two so I'll post pics if anything pops up.

Wasn't trick or treating in Boo Hill the past few years? Well... they moved it to Dinos Alive this year. I don't know that Boo Hill isn't operating this year, but if it is closed, that could mean the dark ride could go there.

That could be true, but I know other parks such as Kings Island have been doing trick or treating with the Dinos for a couple years.

I'll check out all these places when I go tommarow and see who's right! My money is on something small within the proximity of the Blue S midway.

Leave the hypercoaster alone

I was there yesterday. Didn't notice anything going on.

then what happens in 2016 because that is the likely year of cedar point next major coaster...

Just because you want a new coaster in 2016 doesn't mean it's likely to happen.

What about redoing Blue Streak like NTG?? It will be Blue Streaks 50th birthday. And it is a family ride.. Just an idea.

Blasphemy! Absolutely NOT

Don't see anything new for next year.

I don't think every woodie needs a Texas Giant make-over either, especially not Blue Streak. I think we've been riding too many steels and forget that woodies are supposed to shake and rattle.

I would think it would have to be something special for next year if they're asking families to audition on youtube for it. I'm going to hope for a new Pirate Ride, complete with a new pond and ship outside of it! :)

I personally think with cp looking for a family to do the announcement they could be doing a "thrills for the whole family" type campaign. There could be a ccmr restoration, planet snoopy expansion, and re-painting of TTD. I don't think it will be very big. Maybe a dark ride. I don't know if anyone has brought this up, but could possibly a smaller woodie like the Little Dipper at SFGA be put in for a Camp Snoopy expansion? It could go along the theme of Blue Streaks 50th anniversary.

You do know they do paint the pavement for the Monster Midway Invasion Celebration...

Just my thoughts
