I'll take Fat Tire over the other choices offered

I'll still be a Great Lakes or New Holland person.

Draft: CrAbbey Ale (own brew, it was alright, not great, but refreshing), Bud Light, Yuengling Lager, Fat Tire, Blue Moon, Stella, Redds Ale.

You were at the bar at Chickie's and Pete's yesterday, weren't you? :)

No I haven't been to CP since opening day. I was down at KI yesterday however :)

Awesome. I was at Chickie's and Pete's for a few beers and some crab fries during the day. The bartender that was there was a pretty awesome dude. We made friends with him quickly.

I wish I kept the recipt to get his name and remember it for next time, I'm terrible with names. I believe it was Josh. He'a a prior SFNE ride op turned food with prior bartending experience, he's a great guy. I will be happy to head in there another day and enjoy his company. Like I said earlier, their loss was our gain, great great guy to have behind the bar.

I just wish they had a full service bar inside the park. Man would I love to order a Manhattan, Avaition, or Gimlet with food or just to relax before headed to the next ride. However I understand CP doesn't want people trashed on rides I guess haha.

We bought 3 All Day Dining Plans online in advance for our family of 6 adults and a five year old on Friday and enjoyed it so much we bought them on my phone for Saturday. We feel we really saved money and never went hungry. We normally share meals anyhow and have extra snacks back at the hotel.
It was different than the meals at the park- we had to tell them it included 2 hot dogs on a stick compared to the one at the park menu.
I wish they had a centralized place to get the wristbands (or guest services, etc) since the food op workers didn't know much about it and had trouble ringing it up. Both days we started shortly before 11 and had 5 meals by the end of the day.
Coupled with the Souvenir Refill cup (which rang up free a few times on the second day for some reason) it was a good deal. We loved the Coke Freestyle too. That was my first time to see one of those!

Here's a list I typed up before we left from the CP list. It is by restaurant instead of just food type.
Cedar Point Meal Plan Restaurant Guide

Dragon’s Inn (by Iron Dragon)
Chicken Fingers
Colossal Dog
2 Hot Dogs on a stick

Round Up (by Maverick)
Chicken Fingers
Cheeseburger

Corral (Midway near Cedar Downs)
Chicken Fingers
2 Hot Dogs on a stick
Cheese on a stick
2 Pizza Slices

Gristmill (Near Petting Zoo/Snake River Falls)
Chicken Fingers
2 Pizza slices

Lakeside Express (by Gatekeeper)
2 Hot Dogs on a stick
Cheeseburger
Perch sandwich
2 Cheese on a stick

Pinks (Front of the Park)
Cheeseburger
Specialty Dog
Bacon Chili Cheeseburger

Coasters (Center Midway at split)
Chicken Fingers
Cheeseburger

We don't typically eat much at the park but did have Chickie and Pete's. I was sad to hear about game day closing (usually split their nachos and it kept us full all day) but the new place is amazing. The pizza, fries, and workers couldn't have been better!

We are local to Kings Island so we bought the season long dining plan there. Looked at the CP options and they don't compare to Kings Island. Hank's alone is worth it. My husband works 5 minutes away and had been going there with buddies for lunch!

Last edited by Dara,

CP continues to listen to our feedback to modify the dining plan options. Pink's now has the dining plan symbol on its menu. Also, I noticed that they removed some of the specialty dogs but now you can get a turkey burger.

Rapid Waves now offers pretty much everything on its menu:
Cheeseburger
Chicken fingers
Grilled chicken sandwich
Hot dog

Now to get the grilled chicken sandwiches included in the park as well.. :)

Ooh, a turkey burger is a step in the right direction. The grilled chicken sandwich from Rapid Waves was pretty good, though I removed the bun because I really just wanted a chicken breast, but I wish I could get something in place of fries.

I'm doing really good so far - since I got the cortisone shot in the ol' knee (torn cartilage), I've been able to get more active and I've dropped 10 lbs :)

Congratulations on dropping the 10 pounds. Not always easy but you did it! I hope you can keep them off.

Thanks. I'm hoping that I'll be able to push myself back down to my goal weight of 185, but I'll be happy if I make it within 10-15 of that :)
