Oh cool. I hope that actually is the case. That drop in 12$ while not that much does make it more appealing as I was on the fence about it.

Opening day, as I said above, it was $72. Seems like a no brainer for me. Before we left the house, I bought and printed one All Day Meal Plan for $32 and change for my kids. My son had no problem exchanging the voucher for a wrist band. While there are limited choices, we never went hungry all day(myself, and 3 teenagers).
Inconsistency was the main issue.
Chicken Finger Combo: Corral-6 fingers and fries. Round Up- 3 fingers, fries, Coke.
Hot Dog on a Stick: Dragon Inn-Dog, Fries, Coke. Lakeside- 2 dogs, chips, Coke.
Cheese on a Stick: Lakeside: 2 Cheese and chips.
Cheeseburger & Fries: Coasters
Pizza: Gristmill.
Seems like a lot of food, and it was, but we were really trying out the system. Gristmill and Lakeside didn't know how to ring up the deal, both Day plan and Season plan. For my Season plan 'lunch', my pass was not scanned, just looked at by the staff, and given a combo meal.
As was brought up at the park yesterday, I would love to see a grilled chicken option added to the plans.
I think lakeside was having register or scanning problems. They honored the deal but couldn't scan my pass either.
I'm thrilled with the all season meal plan. It's a great value for my family.
I got my all season food plan while at the park today. I purchased mine at guest services at the front of the park. While I was there someone who had purchased one yesterday told me that on Saturday they made everyone buy them from the season pass center. According to the woman working at guest services the $72 price is for people who renewed their season pass for this season. The $84 price is for people who bought a new season pass for this season.

We are going next weekend and debating on getting the All Day Meal Plans. Would those of you who bought it recommend it? Sounds like a good deal since we easily spend $30 in food at the park per person.
For us it is looking like a great deal. Limit to 2 meals a day. 2 hours (minimum) apart.
Drink is not included. It's limited to 5 or 6 locations but there are locations in front, middle and back of the park.
Combo meals are $15 so you can get about $30 in food in one visit.
Cheeseburger , perch sandwich , pizza, chicken tenders, hot dogs lots of options.
I just wish there were more and healthier options. KI has burritos, KBF has chicken sandwiches, just as examples of what I'd like to see incorporated into CP's options. :)
The $15 combos include a drink. Subtract the $4 for the drink and the cost is $11--still a good deal. $22 for 2 meals. Everything after 6 1/2 meals is free.

I will agree with this. I bought season dining, but I'd like to be able to use it on more than just my cheat meals.
Maybe there's a feedback form or something we can send in, and if enough of us ask for it, something will become available.
Personally, I'd like to remain able to fit on the rides :)
Chickies & Petes:
Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak, excellent. The cheese stuff on top they use is really really good. I could have used a bit more buffalo sauce, it was a bit dryer than I thought it would be. Almost Charley's subs-ish on the buffalo. Little bit more, it would have been knocked out of the park.
Crab Fries & Cheese. Excellent. I don't see the huge craze over it, I tasted more potato than crab. Maybe not alot of seasoning being on one of the first orders of the day, dunno. I'll get em again they were awesome, but not as..lack of better words orgasmic as people here have made them to be.
New Belgium Fat Tire is offered, all that needs said. You wanna go for a 9 buck Bud or a skunky Corona, go ahead. I'll enjoy a nice nutty Ale.
Alltogether it was like 31 bucks or so I believe. I ended up paying about 50, my bartender deserved a tip.

I'm guessing the reason you taste more potato than crab is because they contain 99% potatoes, 1% spices and 0% crab.
Well I expected Crab flavoring to an extent seeing them called Crab Fries. I have never had food from the place before. I was thinking this was ganna have some imitation crab kinda taste or something.
The seasoning however was..it was there for a few fries but not much. Like I said maybe being first thing right at the 1100 open on opening day things weren't at their best. I'll def try again. It's worth going in just to get a New Belgium Fat Tire. I have pics of the full menu I'll upload them later for y'all to see. Right now bouncing around knocking out a few last minute things from work today.

There is supposed to be a nice, even coating of seasoning on the crab fries. If you just had a little, they didn't do it right.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I had a good bit on top after that towards the bottom it was like a light dash, nothing like the pics or how others described it.
Like I said, still good, will have another go with it. The cheese was amazing for the fries too btw.
But man, good food all around. I remmeber in the past packing coolers or going off point to eat, they are finally starting to get my bucks. I'll still go off point for a few local places to get some fish or breakfast, etc.

Well, at least *someone* is excited over Fat Tire. I was happy it was coming to Ohio, until I tried it. It's definitely not my style of beer.
I do, however, have some 3 Floyds Dark Lord coming my way this weekend. :)
I'll take Fat Tire over the other choices offered
I'll still be a Great Lakes or New Holland person.
All that was offered was:
Bottled: Bud, Bud Light Lime, Coors Light, Corona, Heineken, Shock Top White, Sam Adams, Miller
Draft: CrAbbey Ale (own brew, it was alright, not great, but refreshing), Bud Light, Yuengling Lager, Fat Tire, Blue Moon, Stella, Redds Ale.
The Yuengling, Moon, Stella, & Fat Tire would be my fav among the drafts, I'd take a Blue moon or Yuengling from time to time. Bottled, only Shock Top, the rest are..meh
