^ Winner!
It's a good deal if you plan to eat all day in the park. I mean I always have a Hot Dog On-A-Stick each trip but I think the are close to $4 now, so that means I'd have to eat 8 in a day to make it worth it. I'm not Kobayashi.
Initially I thought it was a good deal but if no drink is included, not so much. I personally like to get a couple of things and stash a few subs and beers in the cooler in the car. The beer is much cheaper there!
90 minute wait between meals. So essentially you could have "Mom" or a non-rider purchase the All Day Meal plan and the entire family could eat all day?
How so? Well, "Mom" get's her first free meal at 11am and chows it down herself. Yum. That was tasty.
Now, at 1:30pm she gets a meal for 'Dad'. Mmm, that hit's the spot.
3pm, she get's a meal for Johnny.
4:30pm, poor Suzy is starving, but she finally gets her free meal from mom.
6pm, Dad get's his 2nd meal cause he can't wait.
7:30pm, Mom feeds Johnny next cause he's impatient like his dad.
9pm, Mom gets a meal and shares it with Suzy. Suzy could stand to lose a few pounds anyway.
10:30pm, Mom gets the last free meal and eats it while Dad, Johnny, & Suzy are waiting to ride Maverick.
The only way this works, "Mom" doesn't ride anything. She is able to wear the wristband and get the meals through out the day because what else was she doing any way?
Remember the motto: They have to eat?
$30 for the whole family's meals = A GOOD DEAL!!
(just takes a little preplanning....) ;)
Edited to add: ;) winky face.
^As noted above, it really isn't that easy to abuse. I really doubt that there will be many families of four who will try and squeeze 6 meals out of the band. Even so, the price is high enough where the park will at the very least break even.
The wristband in 2009 was $7.99, so it isn't that much different from guests buying a souvenir cup for $9.99 and getting free refills the first day.
I guess..but the park is advertising it as 30 dollars per person, not 30 dollars for your family of four, or three of your best friends.
I mean poor analogy at best but I think it gets the point across: You don't buy a platinum pass, and pass it through the fence to your buddy in line to get him in. Same kinda thing to an extent.
