Ya'll like nascar?
Nascar is like a fine wine.....It just gets better with time. Lol
I sure hope they are not using a nascar theme for the new attraction. Not only is nascar a dying sport, but it will not fit into the frontier trail theme at all.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Love NASCAR, I will be at the park tomorrow to see Jeff and than from there headed up to Michigan for the race. 3rd race this year for me.

Oh yeah just hack into it, that makes a lot of sense.
I was just a joke guys...geeze, relax.
CP Nut
The worst part about nascar is that it actually gets covered on espn...that's a waste of airtime

Despise Nascar. I'm just saying they have a celebrity at the park tomorrow. Why wouldn't you have him announce the new ride? There will be tons of people with mullets there to see Jeff, so it is easy promotion for the new ride.
Another reason I think tomorrow is the day: Brady Quin only got a little square on CP's website promoting his visit to the park. Jeff Gordon has the whole CP homepage promoting his visit.
We'll see tomorrow.

Bold. Exciting. Refreshing. If the words are clues, then I don't believe it will be a flume. Refreshing sounds like it would mean something out of the ordinary. I'm jumping back on the aquatrax bandwagon

Say what you want about NASCAR. It has a lot of followers and I am one of them. I am just your average white collar worker. It has many corporate sponsors. Pepsi being one of them. Which is how Jeff Gordon will be there. Most NASCAR tracks hold over 100,000 people. What NFL,MLB or NHL sport has that many people there? NCAA football is the only one who has 100,000+ stadiums. NASCAR isn't for everyone but why knock something that has become the most watched and attended sporting event?
Well if "Bold. Exciting. Refreshing." is used to describe the new ride we know it wont have anything to do with nascar.

I think its describing a new brand of Drink coming out by Crystal Rock. No connection with the ride.

You got that right.
What else is there to do down south?

I think the purpose of throwing out all the contradictory hints was to bring us to this point:
Finally the first "real" tease (the whyte lightning website)...
which came only after throwing out so many contradicting clues that everyone is left scratching their heads...with nearly every ride-type being suggested and/or hinted at...
but we also know that the ride will 1) fill a gap, and 2) wont be a record breaking steel monster-coaster.
In my opinion, it's looking more and more certain for a water ride.
Promoter of fog.

You might be right if any of that existed. The company is fake. The drink is fake. Cedar Fair/Point made all of it up. It has to do with a ride, maybe not CP's ride, but a Cedar Fair ride definately.

Call me crazy, but if ALL the NFL teams got together and played their weekly games in one location, I'd bet there would be a lot more than 100,000 people showing up. Apples & lock washers, man.
Brandon
Exactly. There are 162 MLB games played each year FOR EACH TEAM. Average 30,000 people at each game. Now if they only played every Sunday for 12 weeks out of the year there would be more people.
This is why ESPN's viewers have gone down on Sunday afternoons.

I understand your point. Although there are 36 weeks(races) in a year not 12.
Now back on topic about 2010. IMO I believe water will be an element about this ride. And since there was a Crystal Rock Castle back in the day I hope that it would be a dark ride incorporating that castle.

Exactly....because a backup quarterback is exactly the same as a 4 time NASCAR champion...and most people know how to spell Jeff's last name.

Hi Guys- Long time reader first time poster. I think that NASCAR is big sport and Jeff Gordon is one of it's Superstars. That being said, it would be cool to have a celebrity athelete announce next year's ride.
