isnt kenneywood suppose to get a new coaster, possibly a eurofighter, i dont believe that they started construction yet....i may be wrong. So Cedar Point can still add a roller coaster by next year. A themed ride like Mystery Mine at Dollywood could make its way to Cedar Point.

OK well has anyone entertain this idea? There was a rumor awhile ago that we were to get a water ride to replace WhYte Water Landing and they held of putting it in next year, so that money is already in the budget for Cap spending for next year!

Then Great America was going to get a GCI for 2009, but with all of the 49ers crap they held off. Well now they are trying to possibly unload the park to the 49ers. Why put more money into a park that they might sell? The coaster is already paid for with this years Cap spending, so why couldn't they put two rides in Cedar Point in one year!

Also isn't Kinzel to retire at the end of the 2010 Season and he said in an interview that he wanted to go out with a Bang! What could be a bigger bang than adding two rides to his flagship park.

Which would give us 2 more coaster than Six Flags and still the coaster capital of the world! Just a thought!

They are really dragging this on. Was the Maverick pre release hype this big? (as in an actual fake sponsor website etc.)

I do find it somewhat odd that CP's "hints" haven't been anything more than red herrings. Not to come across as indignant, but it really makes me less likely to follow them on their Twitter/FB stuff. I mean, if all they're offering there is promotional stuff and absolutely pointless crap designed to do nothing more than mess with their fans, I see no value in it.

They could really learn a thing (or ten) from Holiday World.

So I got bored and decided to screw around with the web address. I started out by adding /news to the end of www.whytelightning.com. It came back with "page not found." So then I typed in /stats at the end of the address, where I was then asked for a user name and password to access the page.

Hmmm. Interesting...

Well from yesterday when I searched about the whole Crystal Rock thing I found out that CP had a Crystal Rock Castle. Maybe it will be a dark ride bringing back the Crystal Rock Caslte?

Just imagining like everyone else. And yes just as excited as everyone else.

Welp, Kennywood's made their announcement. Premier rides launched coaster, 0-50 in under 3 seconds, up and down a 95 foot tower. They're taking out the turnpike cars temporarily.

Which, in reality, IS the clue.

It will be a wooden coaster built from the mightiest trees of the forest.

Next year, a second wood coaster, built from the second mightiest trees of the forest will be built on the opposite side of the midway, but a little higher so as to create a two level effect.

..or maybe the typical "stats" page shows the web statistics for visits to the site? Crazy idea, right?

Ok all webcams are down. All of them. Jeff Gordon is in town tomorrow. I'm thinking Jeff is announcing it and new webcams pointed at the new ride? The new site will be released tomorrow after Jeff anounces it at the park. Just what I am thinking.

After the crash on Monday, all of the ESPN people are saying Jeff has a really bad back. Will he still ride Millennium?

Yes, I noticed all the webcams are down also. Maybe they are setting up a new webcam for the construction site??

Why would they turn off all of the webcams, just to add a new one?

Yeah Jeff got banged up pretty bad. He hit the wall dead on after Sam Hornish smacked his car.

Thats a good prediction about him possibly helping them launch the new ride.
