The disappearing of the Snake River Web cam could have something to do with the fact it was featuring the newest attraction Maverick..... Then again, the dragster cam comes and goes, so we could assume every time it goes down that dragster is going Bye Bye.
Just your usual come and go poster. One week I am here, then I disappear for a while.
I really doubt the idea of this being an actual Halloweekends attraction...it would seem more logical to try and make something like that hidden, and use the available trees, etc. instead of bulldozing a giant open space and then trying to fill it in...but it can be done...
The boneyard has been cleared as well, or cleaned up, so the idea of a storage space doesn't seem very logical, but, with Kinzel wanting to micromanage the crap out of the park, I suppose this isn't far fetched..
I think it's reasonable to assume that the park is exploring more ways of integrating the MF island into the park for more than just Halloweekends, but it doesn't have to be a new rollercoaster or even a spinning ride...
Oh, and by the way, to the guy who made the comment about why speculate..can I come sign the cardboard box you surround yourself with? If no one ever speculated about what could happen about anything, well, we'd be a lot worse off than we are now.

Hi! I guess I'm "that guy" I was being sarcastic about the entire why speculate thing. I Love to speculate and talk about what could be. If you look in the other topics that involve speculation, there is always a grumpy person or seven bashing the people that speculate. I was just having some fun. My friend has a cousin that knows the guy who cleans the bathrooms in the old frontier lift bathrooms said they are building a dive machine. Oh yeah, my box is not cardboard ,it is a synthetic heat resistant polymer that has elastic characteristics. Some might say a rubber room, but I call it home.
Gee I think that answers the question of do they read these. As well as Tony does make statements here too.
Anyways here is another cool idea. To celebrate Millenniums Tenth anniversary in 2010 and to take advantage of the new Green initiatives CP will be installing large Wind Turbines on Millennium Island which will not only provide energy for the surrounding structures but will provide some awesome head chopping effects on Millennium Force riders. You think that twist under the hill of Maverick is good, wait until you see the big blade come down towards your vehicle only to miss you and rotate back around.

Exactly....they post a picture of the area stating something is happening only to have it removed hours later? What gives?
Someone does a fly-over of the park...snapping pictures and posting them online (which is fine, of course)...but perhaps they hadn't thought of someone doing this and want to (temporarily) squelch talk about it until they are ready?
Or maybe the Padoga cam is tied to it somehow (seems a bit far away, though).

Well...my uneducated guess as to what happened:
T&T did what they have always done which is stoke the fire a bit. But, perhaps Dick and the gang are concerned about sending mixed messages. You see, they just recently announced a decrease to the distribution and the possibily of selling parks. So, if they then "officially" speculate on upcoming capital type projects it does lead to some confusion. "So, you are cutting back AND spending at the same time?"
Again, just my guess as I have no evidence of anything. But, it sure sounds like it has Kinzel's fingerprints on it.
