Mystery Construction

Didn't look like there had been much activity since the clearing, from what I could see from Camp Snoopy yesterday.

I don't care if Cedar Point ever builds a record breaker again. As long as they keep building fun rides like Magnum or Raptor or Millenium, I'll be thrilled.

I think what OhioSate is trying to say, is the they do not care if another record breaking coaster is built. As long as they keep the current record breakers around.

I agree. While I would like to see a new coaster put in, I could care less if CP never added another ride. Their collection is great as is.

Edit: I read it wrong. Whoops.:) What I wrote is the way I feel anyway.

I'll go for a Gravity Group coaster like the one they just built in China

WOW

couldn't, not could care less

kylepark said:Terra coaster was a term for hugging the terrain. Maverick rides close to the ground, but doesn't hug the terrain like certain parts of the Beast.

Wouldn't the Beast at KI be first terracoaster since it hugs the terrian?

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

I would think so, it's not like Maverick cuts into the side of a hill like the 2nd Beast tunnel. Also, what about Boulder Dash?

Their have been many coasters over the years that hug the terrain, maverick is by far not the first.

If that refers to the trail, it's likely leftover from the installation of Starlight Experience.

^ I think your right. I noticed them too and it seems like the marks are located around the areas they put the floats.

I won't get excited yet until more activity starts happening over in that area. I'm with everyone else on here though. I think Cedar Point is Awesome enough! I think Cedar Point will have to wait to see how the end of the year goes before they add a new coaster. Being the economy being the way it already is could affect attendance this season.

Was there an q&a at Coaster Mania? If so, how many times did someone ask about the clearing on PWE?

You all know thay keep things under wraps pretty well!!!!!
so we can speculate all we want but we will not know anything until thay tell us!!!!
I would highly doubt if thay would put a coaster in there, that would be nice but thay can even get the maverick to work right half of the time, but that's another story.........
But if thay would put one in i would really like to see a flying coaster like X-Flight or something like that,That would be really cool and the elements in that area seem perfect for it.
But well just have to hold and wait and see....

I hate to be a grammar cop, dude, but seriously: it's 'they'. Say it, try it, use it. More people will like you because you will give fewer of them headaches.

After listening to this week's coasterbuzz podcast, I was thinking.

Jeff mentioned that a "beloved Arrow" is going to close this year.

Cedar Creek Mine Ride is right next to the big clearing. Could it be on the chopping block?
