I understand that CP needs another "true" woodie, but to the GP Cedar Point has CCMR and Gemini also. At least whenever I go everyone considers these coasters "wooden". I would be sort of surprised if the ride was a woodie. I would love it, but I would be surprised nonetheless.
I'm getting really excited for tomorrow!
@Norman: Yup. I was mainly talking about the steel track/wooden support coasters at the point.
We will know in under 16 hours! :)

Gottcha! Yea to the GP we have 4 woodies, only 2 in my my mind though, although I'm fine with that because I'm a fan of steel. The only thing in my mind CP needs is a GCI woodie, a B&M flyer like Manta at Sea World Orlando (excellent ride) and a 500 footer of some sort! "Hahaha" If CP got those 3 rollercoasters in the next 10 years I would think I died and went to heaven!
On a more serious note I can't wait for the reveal either, I'm so stoked and I'm just hoping no matter what it is, it follows tradition and breaks records.
Walt, will you post the info on Pointbuzz's twitter? Tony's new Onpoint said its only gonna be on the CP website, and since I'll be at school I'm relying on you to Twitter that stats and such. ;)
Let's Get Weird.
Has anyone thought about the fact of lightening striking twice?
Perhaps they are going to reuse a name of rides of the past... I predict that Shoot the Rapids will once again be at Cedar Point!
Where did he say it would "only" be on the park's web site? There's nothing in his blog post that's even close to that.
Unless Tony emails me tonight and asks me not to mention their new multimillion-dollar project for which they are seeking widespread publicity, we'll post the details here, on Twitter, Facebook, via email, and maybe even Carrier pigeon. No one covers Cedar Point like PointBuzz and we're not going to change that tomorrow.

...and maybe even African Swallow...
There, fixed that for you. ;)
Of course, two swallows would be carrying it on a string between them tied under the guiding dorsal feathers. Or it could just grip it by its husk. :)

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
It isn't a question of where it grips it, its a simple matter of weight ratios! ;)

I'm not gonna lie, i laughed pretty hard about the carrier pigeon and african swallow ideas. I guess Pointbuzz really likes to get good coverage. I just hope my art teacher will let me get on the computer in the middle of class tomorrow so I can look. Doubt it, but i hope so.

Well, maybe if it had Taco Bell for lunch. That's what we in the industry call Bio-Diesel. :)

It was just a question to make sure I would get it tomorrow.
From Tony:
"Don't forget, tomorrow at 9:10 a.m., we'll have everything about it right here on our website."
It didn't say anything about their Twitter. It may be pretty obvious, but I have witnessed dumber things than if CP didn't put it on twitter. Just checking.
But, I can't wait to see all my friend's faces when a bird comes flying into the school to give me my announcement! ;)
Let's Get Weird.
One thing I've noticed is that the website for whytelightning.com is hosted at GoDaddy. The rest of the CP sites are hosted with ThePlanet.

Two of them could carry it between them.
An African swallow maybe, but not a European
swallow. ;)
On second thought let's not go to Six Flags, 'tis a silly place.

Maybe Tony likes their commercials. ;)
Perhaps, or maybe DEI got them the domain at a discount considering the the past commercials Dale Earnhardt, Jr. has done for them. ;)
We will have information via all of our electronic channels. They'll lead you back to our home page, since that's where the info is hosted.
I don't know about y'all, but I just want to announce this thing already!
Oh, and I never said anything about not getting wet at the Maverick ride night, just for the record.
G'nite, y'all!
