Or when Monty retires...I'm perfectly content with GCIs, though I will admit I have yet to ride El Toro.

On the flume with LIMs thing, that would be very interesting. The LIMs on the new slide appear to be flat and part of the slide surface, instead of the fins we're used to seeing. Perhaps RideMan could enlighten us on this particular topic?

I think fins would work. Narrow the trough a little so the "log" doesn't bounce as much.

^^lol The Targizzians and Neptillians must be starting coaster rumors again.

I was wondering if the pumpkins on the comic in the video were ever pointed out. It seems to me it hints towards halloweekends. What are your thoughts?

hate to burst your bubble...but those aren't pumpkins...they're apples. :)

Sorry, Valleyfair. Must have missed it. :)

It's all good, sometimes it takes one of the respected veterans to get the message through. :)

I think it could be an incredibly fun ride though! I've ridden Deluge at SFKK and I was very impressed by how much fun it was! Now, turn it into something more "dry park" friendly and you have an exciting flume ride that could easily entertain all genres of guests!

They still haven't ruled out a hanging/inverted log flume. ;)

Getting back on topic, I think that whatever it is should be a great addition, as long as it is fun and gets you slightly wet, but not too wet because then it takes forever to dry. And (I believe this may have already been said) do you think that the named means it will be fast (lightning) but also the nickname for mooonshine/whiskey? That way it gets the best of both names.

Twitter, though it is viewable through the intertoobs, is really meant to be followed on your phone via text messages.

Ok, if they are "renderin video," and it is talking of the new attraction for 2010, then I say coaster. How many water rides do you know of with a video (assuming it's like a POV of some kind.) I wonder...

Most recently built "flumes" do don't they? Just saying :)

Ok, I had never heard of or seen one on a "flume" before. I was just tryin to put 2 and 2 together. But whatever, we'll find out soon enough. The anticipation is killing me!
