PWE expansion with new animatronics of dueling moonshone runnin' familes...(the Canfield and McGees)

OR

Ever been to Dollywood? It's called RIVER BATTLE, and you dont get "wet"...you get soaked.

The concept? (taken from the ride description)

In the park’s ongoing effort to provide opportunities to bring families closer, River Battle is yet another ride addition that allows parents and children to ride together.

Perect reason why my students are never allowed to use Wikipedia as a "resource".

No, but since anyone can edit it, it also doesn't mean anything.

Kevin - although Wikipedia can be a great place to find resources provided you follow the links at the bottom and evaluate the quality of the sources independently.

ok I found the Canfield's & Mcgee's on the PWE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPa4OjLsy20

they are about 2 :00 minutes in to the video.. I hope they and the other animatronics somehow get incorporated into the ride.

Oh...I didnt know those "families" were already there...

Then I think that Tweet means that PWE is staying, since those families will "still be feuding next year".

Kevinj's avatar

Oh....:) I get it. Calming the rumor that it may leave.

Whew.

On a side note, I'm glad Rivertown has gotten some love in recent years with additions in 2006, 2007 and 2010.

Yeah whatever it's called. ;) Too bad KI's is starting to disintegrate over the past few years.

This may sound dumb, but why are they using FB, Twitter and OnPoint separetely instead of posting a hint on all 3 at the same time? Could there be clues in the fact that they post certain ones on FB and others on twitter? If so, i have no idea : )

Really? Didn't it just get a brand new coaster, that fits the theme fairly well, and really revitalized that part of the park? Also, wasn't the whole plaza surrounding the area just remodeled? I'll be the first to say that "The Crypt" makes no sense whatsoever, but I would say over the last year RT has been improved.

PWE doesn't have to stay for that theme to stay. Not suggesting it's going anywhere, but they can keep those families around and feuding in the theme of a new ride.

I'm with the others. Until a few years ago I didn't know what PWE was. I still have never been on it, and probably wont.

I hope the new flume has as much theming as the Intamin website shows.
