Most Fun

And none of the small rides, either! If you work in park operations, there is no guarentee that you'll be working a coaster.

Another nice thing was that controls gives you the opportunity to sit... unless of course a sup walks in and steals your seat :( Why did that ALWAYS happen to me??? Anyway, my two least favorite positions were walking crowd and entrance... my "Intimidating" self was yelled at every 5 seconds or so.
In my crappy opinion, the most desirable position--at least on the Gemini-- is spiels. I am especially fond of spieling while parking trains on the Gemini. I perfected it to the point where I had the entire attention of the platform on me while I spoke without using any inflection, volume, or excitement whatsoever. For being such a smart-ass, I sure had a hell of a lot of fans. Of course, the reason for this is a lot of people thought I was dying or suicidal even though I was just bored. I think they cared about my well-being. It is easily the most rewarding part of operating a ride. This is only my opinion. Remember that I am always wrong about everything. Apropos of the last sentence, I tagged this post as a crappy opinion.
Rotating every 30mins was good because after a while you get bored somethime very bored with a position. For me my least favorite position was entrance, this is where all the stupid guests ask the same questions over and over, all day long. Controls are fun but your thumb hurts after a while, and somethimes it's lonly and hotter than the outdoor temp. My favorite position was speils, I love talking on the mic evnen thoug I wasn't as creative with the speils as some of my fellow employees were. ("get in the train, train ,train." Love ya Mikey)

On the Iron Dragon, we tried (didn't always succeed, but we tried) to rotate every 20 minutes, and then shifts just flew by! The rotation helps more than I ever would have thought. Plus, then you get to have more opportunities to work controls and every other position, so you're never stuck for so long at each single location.
