As many of you may already know, Dragster went down today early afternoon and will not be reopening for a couple days. The part that is necessary will more than likely not be coming from the US, so that might add to the delay.
Thankfully went the cooler went out last time, the part actually did come from the states, not Intamin.
I'll keep you updated. They didnt move the trains onto the transfer track as of 4pm either... hm.
TTD120, man it has to be up be Thursday, need my Dragster fix. :{ bholcomb, try to get us the scoop on how long repairs will take. I am going down Thurs. with about 250 8th grade graduates and it would be nice to know if it will be up.

What KK had was way more drastic than anything that has ever happend the TTD.
More drastic? I think the hydraulic fluid being contaminated by metal fragements causing a 4.5 week-long shutdown of the ride for a complete engine overhaul is PRETTY DAMN drastic. I also don't recall Kingda Ka's cable fraying with riders on the ride. That's pretty drastic, don't you think?
You need to remember that we still don't know what happened to Kingda Ka so don't make statements like that.
Yeah, but these incidents happened within how long of Dragsters operation?
And KK's incident happened how long in ITS operation?
So KK's first accident, this early, IS pretty drastic considering the evidence we have so far. *** Edited 6/14/2005 3:04:08 AM UTC by TTD 120mph***
-Adam G- The OG Dragster nut
Why do SF fanboys come here and hide "in the closet" like we are too stupid to figure out what they are?
They make it so obvious with their defending SF constantly and biting everyone's head off who dares to say anything about KK.
Expect this and if you don't like it maybe you should not post here until the ride is fixed. This IS a CP fansite so what did you honestly think was going to happen?

What are you talking about? Dragster threw a Drag slick less than 3 weeks into its operation. It's pure luck it was on the right side of the train and landed on the wrong side of the track. If it had been the other side, it would have most likely injured.
Also, I was updated on my information. It sounds like pdhaudio83 is right on.
