Millennium Force rolled back

Just got back, Millie did open today at 9:35 PM. I never thought I'd be participating in the running of the bulls after dark. They were only running blue train, red and yellow were on the transfer with the dummies in them. I'm not sure what they did to it all afternoon, but I can assure you they did not change the wheels. It was moving the same as it did on opening day, and you could tell just by looking at the wheels that they were the same. I did get one ride in, and on a very positive note, the old spiel that we all know and love is back!!! :)

I know none of us here are wheel experts, but I have a picture that just makes me wonder.

Notice in this picture (zoomed in a bit so excuse the fuzziness) the wheel setup with the nylon wheels on the back of each car. Also notice the tree's and everyone wearing long sleeves. It was cold, windy, but clear the day I the day I snapped that picture and this is the wheel setup they went with.

Very interesting since I only rode Mf once(so far) this season I could not tell you about the wheels.I did however see the train on the track and laughed that it had rolled back although it did surprise the heck out of me.But Mf is up and running again.

When a train stops on the lift during test runs it's intentional. It's part of their testing procedure, presumably to test the anti-rollbacks.

I believe it's also part of the block check since with three trains, if the last train hasn't been moved up into the unload station, the computer can't let that train drop off the lift. It also tests the anti-rollbacks so it has two purposes I guess.

Yeah, didn't think of that. It's probably the primary reason, and the anti-rollbacks are just a bonus.
