I guess what surprises me the most in that Jasper said on our winter construction tour that they found the "right mix" of wheels to make it sing in all conditions. Why then, go back to the all-steel set?
If they did ratchet the ride over the hill, then that would explain your dudes on the track.

I think there is an easy fix to this. Bring back the green train!! It never had any problems.

We talked with Monty Jasper in the morning. He said that on Friday mornings test run the train never made it back to the station. The winds were very high and it was cold. Raptor was closed due to the wind and Millennium Force should have also been closed. (Raptor made it up the last hour of the day or so.) Today we watched the blue train continue to be pulled through. It made it back to the station around 1:35 pm. They did do several test runs. The trains (blue and red) were loaded with employees in the first half of the train and water bottle dummies in the back half. We noticed that the red train kept stopping on the lift hill shortly after leaving the station. Around 5:15 pm the trains were parked and then covered in the stations. The temperature was continuing to drop, the wind was picking up and it was raining on and off.

Just got back from the park, and let's just say I was very mad. It was posted MF would be ready by mid day, and I saw it stuck on the final turn, just still there. After they got that fixed, they started running test trains. The blue train was running fine, but the cursed red train would stop every time on the lift hill. By 7:00 the yellow train looked like it was ready to load. Also, the MF logos were on the trains.
Pezman, I was there today too. While waiting in the line near the front, the mass of humanity began chating "Go red go! Go red go!" and moaned when she stopped up the lift hill every time. Red seemed to stop for only a few minutes then finished the ride fine. I was happy to see the logos on the train.

If you're like me and you think Cedar Point should get the B/M Flyer in 2004, give me a "Hell Yeah!"
Whats the uptime on MF this year, like 30%.? :( Maybe If i go it will start working! It's the curse of the MF lady I swear.
Wheels, music, lady, and logos... There's many things that could be cursing the Force so far this season...
