Millennium Force, Dragster, Maverick and Shoot the Rapids were the only rides with full-time entrance hosts as of 2009. Raptor had it only from opening till 11:30 and all day on Saturdays. Rides that had entrance completely scrapped from rotation in 2009: Magnum, Corkscrew, Power Tower, Mantis, Mean Streak, Mine Ride, Iron Dragon, Disaster Transport, Blue Streak and Wicked Twister.

I think I remember at Holiday World (when I went a few years ago) on their coasters, the load person would take a height stick down the line between cycles... While HW is a whole different type of park/crowd, I can just imagine CF corporate seeing this and thinking it would be a great way to cut another $7.40/hr per ride.
It is definitely courteous to the guests to have a host at the entrances of ALL major coasters to eliminate hassles. There are different height requirements and regulations for all rides, plus all guests leave their brains at home - anything helps.

I think I rode WT 3 or 4 times last season, and there was never crowd control. Of course, the ride wasn't very busy, so it wasn't necessary.
Hmmmm the line must have been very dead at the time because the policy for crowd last season was ONLY 2 in each row, with the only exceptions being rows 1 and 16 (front and back). The only time we let up on that was when the ride was literally almost empty to the point of empty trains. It allows us to make sure all 32 seats are filled every train, especially since WT is a one train operation. I honestly wish we could of had a single rider line for WT.
2009: Demon Drop/Disaster Transport
2010: Disaster Transport/Wicked Twister ATL
2011: Disaster Transport TL
2012: Millennium Force TL
2013: Top Thrill Dragster TL
2014: Gemini Ride Supervisor
From Screamscape: (4/1/11) I don’t have any evidence yet, but I’ve heard a rumor going around claiming that Millennium Force may be getting repainted at the moment. Lower level track near the station is rumored have been done already… so I assume pictures will follow shortly if this is true. They’re going to have to get moving to get it done in time for the opening weekend.
Maybe an april fools joke? haha
Unless the weather hasn't allowed for it until now, and they don't plan on painting it all in one off season. After all, wasn't Magnum painted over the course of two off seasons?
Brandon
That makes the most sense. Maybe we'll see a two tone MF for a season...
My author website: mgrantroberts.com.
Yes, that is correct. Magnum got its repainting treatment over two off-seasons. I don't believe they started painting until March, as well. This year March was rather bi-polar where I live (NE Indiana), so they may not have been able to start until now if the weather was similar.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I can confirm that while driving past Millennium today there was indeed freshly painted sections of track. I'm so glad that this paint job is finally happening! Millennium has been looking a little sad the past few seasons.

Out of curiosity, how is this even possible to see? I was under the assumption that CP would block the entrances from the Causeway during the off-season.
I saw during the off season event that was held. We met at hotel breakers, meaning we drove right past some nice shiny blue track.

I know they moved the TTD's WEBCAM to see the Construction of the WINDSEEKER. I know they did that, and now people can't see the MF with the WEBCAM. I could be wrong, but that is Rumor for me and others told me too.

Glad to hear. That ride needs it.

But how would they do that while standing on red dots? ;)
Yea, somebody stole my picture and posted it on screamscape.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Good thing we have Screamscape. How else would we hear about Cedar Point news a week later?
Screamscape is a really lousy site for some of its news. It is either really biased or out of date. I have to say that I really like the color, it is pretty cool to see how much the blue faded.
