I agree with that. Restore the lift lights for sure, they looked amazing when they were new. I don't think MF needs any more "themeing" than that.
While we're on the subject of lights, why not restore the l;ights on Power Tower the way they used to be?
I'd skip the theming. The re-theming on both Bizarros was an ugly paint job, annoying soundtrack, flash pots and fog. The fog is cool and the flashes go off after you go past so most of the effect is lost. Never did see the flames at night though - that must be cool. The audio system also took away 2 seats per train. My opinion is that most of the people that vote for Bizarro haven't been to Cedar Point.
And I read that SFNE removed the flash pots from Bizarro.
I hate to say it but Bizarro/Superman has a much better layout than Millennium Force. However, with that being said the trains when i rode it back in its superman days there was a glaring problem. The trains themselves were small and much like any of the other superman coasters at six flags you had the ankle restraints which in turn made it impossible to enjoy it comfortably.
However, the layout does provide alot of air and laterals which millennium force doesn't have. Its not the effects but the ride itself. I personally still take millennium force over it, but they are close in my favorite rides, although no magnum. :)

They should definitely restore the lift lights, but they would need to fix/replace the units that no longer work/respond. They should just invest in some new LED spotlights (like KI did last year for the eiffel tower) because you can do even better shows with those today.
I recall the first year or two they had lighting fixtures in the load station that projected the "M" logo and it chased around the station walls. Of course, those overheated and/or the bulbs went bad and were just taken down. And I thought I remember something about a "heartbeat" sound was supposed to play on the way up the lift when it first opened, but that never happened.
If anything, some paint would definitely help; as there are parts with more rust than silver (first overbank near train tracks) to the point where it almost looks embarrassing on CP's part... and the track is not any better.
And this is exactly the aspect of Cedar Point that is mind-numbingly frustrating.
None of these ideas will happen. They never do. Someone please convince me otherwise. Still in a sour mood after watching the Bucks last night.
Promoter of fog.
One thing I noticed when I was there in late August was the enormous amount of spiders and spider webs in the station and the part of the queue leading up to the station. Some of these spiders were absolutely massive. I think it's safe to say that a good portion of the population is a little freaked out by that, myself included. I don't think it would be too much to just take out the power washer once every few weeks and clean those up a bit.

Those spiders are DISGUSTING. I know from experience that they are IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of, though. Cedar Point was built over a forest of Cedar trees, and the forest is fighting back. When I worked at Power Tower, we had to de-cobweb the fences after park close. Hordes of these giant spiders would appear from everywhere, and it freaked me out! They were as big as a golf ball. I;m getting shivers just thinking about it.
When I was a sweep I felt like one of my first objectives was to keep nature in check. I hear it gets really bad during Halloweekends, because the park closes for a few days and it gives nature a chance to catch up. Last year, my first day on the job consisted of removing moss from the cement by the dragster for 6 hours. I did the same thing the following day, as well. I even dreamed about it.

Minor and tangential point. I'm not going to break out my edition of Queen of American Watering Holes, but I distinctly remember those aren't really cedars. They were misidentified by pioneers. In fact, the whole park and peninsula is misnamed.

I love the fog during Halloweekends, and I think it would be a cool addition to the ride during the whole season. But I'd worry that it would take away from the Halloween-y, spooky atmosphere it adds to the ride in October D: Unless, of course, they thought up a few new ways to add some spooky touches to the ride. Hmm..
Also, I think we all know that a well-kept paint job can make like nine worlds of difference on some rides. I'm not sure if any of you guys have ever visited Six Flags America (the closest park to my home, unfortunately), but in my opinion, their Superman used to be GREAT. I stopped going to the park altogether a few years ago, but even then the paint had faded so badly and the surrounding atmosphere in the Gotham City area had deteriorated so much that it was almost depressing to ride it anymore. MF definitely isn't anywhere near that point (and we're also not talking about SFA here), but still..

Agree with this. It's seriously like a spider breeding section over there. Not just big ones, but little baby ones too. I was definatley uncomfortable waiting right by spiders, but it wasn't too bad where I wouldn't wait for MF just because of them.

Some G forces would be nice. :)
I'm not too knowledgeable on G's. How could the airtime be increased on the two parabolic hills? I'm assuming that the airtime could be increased if the trains went over the hills faster, but I could be wrong...
^ Millennium Force has gained the nickname of "Millennium Forceless" from some who follow the amusement/coaster industry because it seems that the coaster meanders and really does nothing noteworthy in terms of forces on the rider past the first drop. Ben was simply alluding to this.
Being a broken record here, but I would also like to see Millennium get a new coat of paint and have it restored to it's former opening season glory. Oh and I am really liking that fog idea.

Make them pointier. :)
Those spiders are crazy, but many rides do knock those webs down on a daily basis (at least the ones within reach) and they're still back in a matter of hours. There's only so much you can do about nature.
I think the general Cedar Point paint strategy is this: When it looks like it really needs a paint job, wait 1-2 more years, then paint it. ;)

Is that the same thing as Arrow-ier? ;)
