MF is a great ride and just looking at the first hill is breath taking let alone looking down it, seconds away from torpedoing toward the ground below, but does it live up to all the hype it gets
You're on the wrong board for that question. There's a reason for it to still have a ton of hype on its seventh season of operation.

Depends on you. People view different coasters differently.
Just view a thread on Meanstreak to see that!
Thanks for leaving us hanging by not giving reasons for your opinion. You should have just combined this and your TTD post into one trip report. It would have at least made for a complete paragraph.
Yes, MF is worth the hype. IMO, it probably would have the largest consensus of non-biased people calling it the best coaster out there.
There are 2 types of computer users in the world; those that back up often, and those that have never had a hard drive fail.
I know I shouldn't have to explain myself, but any coaster, like MF, that leaves you talking for 45 minutes after your 1st ride, does live up to the hype!
I couldn't even ride iron dragon after my 1st ride, I wouldn't say I was scared, just unbelievably excited when I got off of it.
No I won't wait 2 hours for it, but I will wait 1 hour for it, and I usually don't ride anything unless it is a 1/2 hour wait.
The first time I rode Millennium Force, I felt a buzz for over an hour after riding it. I think it lives up to the hype!
I love Pit Bulls!!!!
After riding MF many times, the ride just doesn't do much for me anymore. The first drop is still great, but the rest doesn't do much after being on it many times before. The disorienting factor is quite there like Raptor and TTD have.

I've said this before, but the whole 17 second thing is what makes TTD so much fun and interesting. Majority don't agree, but there are some who do. The moment your adrenaline is at full blast, you're already getting off the ride. The rush is still there while your exiting the ride. Unlike other rides when the rush is already wearing off before the ride is over. Again this is all part of my preference and is the reason I like TTD.
There's nothing other than the line being to long at times that disappoints me about TTD. No line is disappointing as well since that's not a good sign of getting a ride anytime soon.

For me, it's like "that was it?" - every time. I really want to keep up the speed for a much longer duration. Bonus points if it's fast and low to the ground.

I've felt that way too. Raptor and TTD seem just as great every time, but MF can be a little dull in comarison after being on it a lot. Still, this was really the first year I ever had some not so great rides on MF, and when I get a good ride on it, MF truly is #1 to me.
Thrills Around the Corner!

Thank you! I know exactly what you mean, and I feel that way everytime I'm getting off TTD. I could just never explain in words to other people that feeling.
And yes, Millennium Force does live up to it's hype still in my opinion.

I like Millennium as much as the next guy, but after riding it several times I'll take Magnum over it any day. To me it has more character and loads of great air time, even if the trimms are on. Plus, the line is usually non-existant for it.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I really could take a nap on MF.
It's a great ride for the park and the GP who don't get the chance to ride it many times.

101 on Magnum and counting...
As amazing of a feeling Dragster left me with, a week or so ago I got a new calendar and it struck me...The Voyage has more airtime than Dragster has ride time. ;)
The thing that I notice about Millennium Force is how loud the cheers in the station are after almost every ride. (If the ride ops provoke it that is...)
Summer was made for a Cedar Point day~
i couldnt agree with e x i t anymore, thats exactly how i felt, its a fun ride but your just left with the statement "that was it"
