According to CoasterCounter.com, I've only been on 32 coasters. Wow. But I still have to say - Millennium Force is the best roller coaster ever. I went on a trip 8/18-8/21, my first time ever to Cedar Point. After hitting Dragster, which I ranked at the top of my list, I went on Millennium Force. (This was at about 9:30 A.M.) I sat in the very back on the blue train...holy crap. My eyes were tearing up when we were going back into the station. Why:
Incredible drop and airtime
Intense G-forces
3 awesome overbanked curves
Handchoppers
Tunnels (one that takes your picture)
Three airtime hills (last one is awesome if you're sitting on the right side of the train)
Cool shadow effects...
It ripped my park map! I took it out for the picture right before entering the second tunnel, and it ripped...
I did it five times that trip. What a coaster. You simply cannot beat the sheer intensity of the powerful Millennium Force.
I do all my own stunts.

I still like Dragster better, MF seems less and less intense everytime. But it's still second on my list.
Naw...to me, it gets either gets more intense or stays the same.
alwaysdreamin: Yes. I believe my first words after the first ride were - "I've been waiting for five years for this..." and I had been! I'd been waiting since 2000 to ride it...
I do all my own stunts.

For me to describe Millennium Force it will take up the whole page but so be it. When you ride Millennium Force oh man you feel like your flying the whole ride. What Freaks me out on Millennium Force at first is going up the hill because not too many coasters go up at a 45 degree angle like Millennium Force. Once you reach the top, MAN!!! what a view and you have plenty of time to enjoy it for about 4 seconds. And the Drop, best part about Millennium Force. Your constantly going 93 mph until you reach the 1st airtime hill. Nothing can compare to that first drop, thats where I feel like my flight begins on this thing. And the second hill man I spread my arms out and felt like I was flying. You do get incredible airtime on that second hill even though its actually an overbanked turn. And then you enter the first tunnel which is awesome because it prepares you for that first airhill, oh man you feel like your riding on a cloud. And the overbanks on the island I just feel as if I'm speeding through a racetrack dude. OH YEAH!! When you get to that 2nd overbank you feel like riding on a cloud again. It's so much fun to feel like riding on a cloud. The second tunner, even though there is some straight track there, it prepares you to make a good smile to the camera before leaving the tuneel. And that Bunny hop is really exciting because you feel as if you were bunji jumping. I love that last turn before you hit that next section of straight track and then you fly over that last Overbank. I love that last straight track, because you can waive at people that are still standing in line. That last overbank, man you feel like your flying and then you hit the breaks. WHAT A RIDE!!!! This is why Millennium Force is my #1 coaster.

Haha, that's funny.
Yeah I agree MF is a great coaster. When I rode it back in 2000,when I was 10, I was barely 49 inches so I got on. I was so scared the whole time starting in the line. So I'm about to get on the ramp when the blue train is stuck halfway up the hill for about 20 mintues, so I'm thinking, does it stall a lot like that or not? So when I get in the station my brother drags me to the front. The whole time we were in the seats waiting for it to start, I was practically staring at the floor with my hands behind my head. The whole way up my hands were on the side of my face so I couldn't look down. (I was scared of heights then, but I overcame that going on so many coasters.) So the first drop I was trying to scream, but nothing came out so why try. Going through the first tunnel I was like, Hell yeah baby!! That first ride so awesome. When we got in the station I was so happy and shocked at the same time. I kept saying more more more. We eventualy went on it 2 more times. Oh yeah by the way we moved to Sandusky in Febuary 2000. I have been to Cedar Point was before that, but I was like 6 or 7 or something. I lived out in California.
Wow. It is reading stuff like this that thrive me to lose the added poundage to get on this thing. Sadly, I couldn't fit on MF this year, weird (...or not so, depending) since I could fit everything else, Dragster included! My ultimate goal is from 222 to 190 by opening day, to which I will be attending. This thread did it, I want to ride this coaster! You all read it here first, I WILL ride Millenium Force in 2006.

Have you ridden the Magnum XL-200 yet? I suggest you check that out because that is the best!

I've done every coaster at CP besides CCMR, JG, and WE (the three kiddie coasters). Magnum, to me, sucks, unless you sit in a middle seat. I rode three times - twice from the wheel seats, once from a middle seat. On the wheel seats, I got on one ride whiplash, and another bruised thighs. From the middle, I got no injuries, and a fun ride, although not intense. So, truth be told - it was probably better about ten years ago.
I do all my own stunts.

I can honestly say that I like every coaster at Cedar Point, I've ridden all except Jr. Gemini.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Superman Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England is the only steel coaster that I like more than MF. Yes folks, SIX FLAGS has the better coaster! lol ...Lets see how many anti-SF people flame me just cause I said something at a SF park is better than something at CP.

Odd because your last sentence was much more flame worthy......... Anyway I would take many coasters over MF anyday.
<Matt>
101 on Magnum and counting...
i have got 120+ different coasters. MF is by far my most favorite coaster. that is beating Scream, X, Xcelerator, TTD, The Beast, Dominator, Raging Bull, etc. MF is just so awesome, that drop, wow.
I'm suppossed to be leaving for work right now but I thought I'd say something more about Millennium Force. What Makes Millennium Force so great, isn't just about the drop but the incredible airtime and how your constantly going 93 mph until the third hill at 182 feet. Even the fourth hill you get great airtime. Someone help me out though, how tall is that fourth hill? The other unique thing is how at the end you're still going 60.

I have not rode SuperMan Ride of Steel yet, but there are a lot of people that agree with you as it was ranked the #2 steel coaster again this year by Amusement Today and the Golden Ticket Awards. Millennium is still my favorite of all the steel coasters that I have rode, but that is what makes the coaster community so great we all love to ride coasters and we all like different ones. If we all liked the same ones it would be a dull world and really long lines.
