Tony periscoped from the train today.

And Mean Streak is not closing in July.

Other than that he had Tyler with him, which was nice to see.

He could have just said that mean streak is not closing this year. Either he's hinting at it actually closing this year, or he's just messing with us.

What a great periscope. It was very cool seeing Tyler and the beach band playing on the train. I still think something is happening with Mean Streak. Tony simply stated that it's not closing in July and the markers don't stand for Rocky Mountain Construction, but that doesn't mean RMC is not doing something with the ride. He made a point to mention Mean Streak a few times which tells me that something is up.

Or the train was at the station next to the largest ride in the park and he needed something to talk about , like they did when they passed each ride.

I still think that there's No there, there.

Perhaps it's not closing in July. Perhaps there's a reason why Mean Streak also features very heavily in the opening of Luminosity. Or perhaps the park wastes money on surveying land for no reason. Lots of questions. Few answers.

Hmmm why would they do a Periscope on the train, where it takes you right by Mean Streak?

Look at the buzz (no pun intended) he created with it. That is why he did it. He knows what he is doing.

I usually love the teasing and buildup. Its different with this though.

I'm at the point (and its totally my own fault) where if RMC isn't coming to the park, I'll be a little upset. Not disappointed. Upset.

IMO, its not really fair to tease an RMC. They're simply too awesome.

To be fair the park did not tease RMC, people on this site did.

The park did the opposite of tease, they explained away the RMC survey marker.

Also, people on here point out the footers with paint markings on them as proof, all the while ignoring that every footer on every steel coaster has a paint marking corresponding to every year. A possible
Reason for paint markings is that they were scheduled for inspected and ones marked may need work or are fine.

They're more plausible explanations for what enthusiasts have come up with for the 'signs' of complete overhaul of MS.

Perfectly explained. Folks have created this on their own, the park has done nothing.

The ultimate troll move would to be just place a random piece of track in the parking lot, for a coaster that isn't actually coming to Cedar Point.

Or start dropping anything large, bizarre and unrelated into the fields where they stored Valravn when it first arrived.

Like I said, its totally my fault for expecting RMC. At the same time, they're clearly subtlety acknowledging something is going on. Wish they would just put the RMC rumors to rest if its not happening. But they haven't, which makes me think it is. I can hope...
