Mean Streak - better?

It needs some new wheels, giant 20"s to straddle the jumps

I dont know how much you know of the retracking but they're not retracking the whole ride. It's only a "small" section of the 1st turnaround.

Hopefully this guy is right about that. I still enjoy riding Mean Streak at least once during my visit just to get in my count of Cedar Point's 15 roller coasters. I say 15 because as a coaster enthusiast, it's not often you see us riding Jr. Gemini or Woodstock Express...lol. As we listened in the meeting last week, they did spend a lot of money to improve the smoothness of Mean Streak. So who knows they might have spent more money on Mean Streak besides the 1st turnaround. I'm just trying to be optimistic for Mean Streak since this is the 20th anniversary.

I just hope Mean Streak gets it's third train back this season...

They won't need it on my account. After that last, bone-jarring ride my daughter and I suffered last year, we're going Mean-Free in 2011. The only Streaks we'll be on will be the Blue variety...and hopefully two of those (CP, CLP).

I hope they get the green train back too. Does anyone know why it wasn't used last year? I saw it sitting in the infield all season.
