MAY 10

That day, From past experiences. Is it going to be really that crowded, or will it be like any normal day. I dont think a bunch of high school kids are going to take over the point.

Weather is looking okay even though we won't have the 10th until tomorrow on there.

Weather reports two weeks out are about as accurate as a blind man throwing darts. They may hit a bulls-eye every now and then, but it doesn't mean they are any good.

They are highly inaccurate as I've seen last summer when I would monitor my vacations coming up.

Hopefully it rains the week before and then we're in the middle of a break in storm systems.

Now a blind man playing pinball, that's different...

^ Lawn darts or horshoes would be more deadly.

^^ - only if he's deaf and dumb too.

^ - the danger of lawn darts is grossly over-exaggerated. Stupid idiot in the 80's can't watch his kid and so he has to get them banned. Unfortunately, even people on Ebay won't ship to the US. I may need to take a day trip to Canada at some point.

They make some that have like a rounded bottom filled with sand. Take the shaft off and make your own dart tip :)

@JuggaLotus

Wikipedia says:
On December 19, 1988, all lawn darts were banned from sale in the United States by the Consumer Product Safety Commission[1]. Shortly after, in 1989, they were also banned in Canada.[2] Lawn darts, used in an outdoor game, have been responsible for the deaths of three children, the latest being in early 1997 near Elkhart, Indiana.[1]

Who's up for a run to Mexico?

Sounds good to me. I think my parents still have a set. I keep hoping I can get them at some point.

What it sounds like is parents need to watch their kids a little closer. We would still be able to throw sharp objects at each other in the back yard if they did.

where do you enter the park early on may 10th if you already have a plat. pass from another park. I know that other years i've had to use a different entrance and have my number taken down...

JuggaLotus's avatar

That should no longer be the case. All Platinum Passes, regardless of park of origin, should work right at the turnstiles.

Although, I guess we'll find out for sure tomorrow.

I hope any gate will work. :)

That should work though. That is assuming, of course, that their new system is as good as we think.
