^^Born yes, attracted, not really. The only thing they care about, in the few hours or days they live out of the water, is mating.

Well, T&T's response to a Blog comment suggests that the "suprise" is connected to effects in the tunnel. Awesome!
Dead Men Tell No Tales
^Are you sure there's only one surprise?

I'm willing to bet cash money the Tunnel Surprise has something to do with water.
I'm too sexy for my harness!
^ I think so
Wow, wow, wow! I love that tunnel exit! Man, this is looking insane:) Can't wait for May 18th, my trip to the Point
So now there's still one other surprise that T&T can't wait to tell us about, there's some tunnel thingymabober, and there's a pointcast comming eventually. Can't wait for those either!

It looks like it, maybe so the ride will be synchronized like it was in the animation.

Like what? It would be awesome, wouldn't it?
I have a feeling the tunnel surprise could be some sort of explosion that causes the launch. Some kind of toned down ripoff of Powder Keg and Mystery Mine.

Well they did say that they will tell us the surprise before next Wednesday, and the recent comment on the blog tells us that they won't be telling us what's in the tunnel. In other words, I don't think the tunnel effects are the surprise. And I liked the water idea.
Can't wait to see it on opening day, and I'm sure it will look great from the Snake River Falls viewpoint with all the water.
