Maverick Queue

If by peachy you mean vomit inducing, then by all means, that would be peachy.

I think instrumental would work better than putting the latest pop-country songs in.

Don't know. How about some of the pop country like Kenny Chesney and the Dixie Chicks?

Those don't actually induce vomiting, but I can tell you they have single handedly kept Pepto Bismol in business. Especially the Ditzie Chicks.

If they play the same music that they play in Frontier Town now, then I'll be happy.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

How about if they play the audio from the CP website comercials. OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER ONAN LKD LAD NCVLDJF.

Someone please shoot me if all they play is current pop-country, I can listen to any type of music other than country. It is the one genre I can not stand one bit.

I'll back you up dude. Country Rocks!!! Lonestar, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, and Carrie Underwood Rock! That's to name a few. They should play at least a couple of Rascal Flatts songs along with Kenny Chesney's in the Maverick queue next season.

^ yeah, but Maverick is themed to the Old West.

Now, if they renamed it Tornado Magnet, and littered some trailers around the area, then you could play some of that in the queue and still keep the theme.

I CAN'T STAND country, my sister started listening to it and got my mom started. The majority of it gets to me, I can't explain why.

I wouldn't mind something related to the theme of the ride, as long as its not mainstream country of today. Please.

But alas, my views on many topics are too logical, so here I leave you. Wow, that sounds strange.

Well I can tell you are a republican as am I, but I really like their music so I wouldn't mind if they played some Dixie Chicks in frontier town.

Off DJ Topic, But on Maverick Queue Topic.

I have noticed a lot of people complaining about other new rides CP has developed, that they use young vegetation in the Queue areas, leaving the Sun to bake on you while you wait, no shade, and takes years to get full grown shade.

No one has mentioned what a great idea they had using the original WWL queue for shade, with the already full grown trees, shrubs and such. There should be ample shading for us peeps, unless someone has heard that they are planning on ripping that area apart before they are done.

What do you think?

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.

The queue rails for WWL were always REALLY close together. I would imagine they would at least redo the rails and make them further apart. But, I wouldn't see why they would rip up the concrete and trees in order to do so. Plus, there's going to be queue "inside" too. So, that's always nice. There's not much room outside of that area to put more queue, so unless they do major midway reconstruction the trees and stuff should remain.

If they would perhaps play a western rap song(lol), they could use Ghetto Cowboy by Bone-Thugz-N-Harmony.

Maverick perhaps? I wanna RIDE ON.

I wonder if we'll be going up a stairway like we used to when WWL was in operation? Maybe they'll make the queue inside have sort of a curve to it since the floor used to be revolving spinning floor.

Well at the very least there will be stairs from WWL's station to Maverick's Station. While on the tour a couple weeks ago, Byran Edwards was asked the same question and he was not sure exactly how guests would be entering the WWL station.

Bon Jovi rules too! (YEs I know thats weird hearing that out of a 13 year olds mouth) Lord I hope they dont play Rascal Flatts! Yes they sound good on CD's but if they are live they either really suck or sound good because of lip sinking or stacks. They could play old stuff like Johny Cash and Kenny Rogers.
