Maverick Opening Day Party

OK Folks...the anectdotal evidence that we are witnessing seems to allude to a Memorial Day weekend opening. Given such, I am curious to see what the interest of the population might be about gathering together for some sort of Maverick Opening festivities...

hmm, well i work 4-close on sat and sunday, but I'm down for it.

I'm hoping to be an inaugural rider, but after that I have to get to Columbus for a Graduation party.

Str8edge....was that reply of yours really necessary? no. We all know on here that plans are subject to change, but given what we know now I am merely attempting to gauge the level of interest.

I would but I only go twice a year and I'm planning to go for CoasterMania and some time during Halloweekends.

ltrain2006, that's like me deciding to have a party at my house but I'm not sure when it's going to be. I'm absolutely sure that everyone likes to party but without knowing when the party's going to be they can't say if they're interested or not.

Well, it is Sandor's ride. I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but it's all we have to go on right now. I'm not one for conspiricies, but they (CP) may have even had an idea about Saturday and told the Red Cross (in confidence of course) which could explain tomorrow being the end date fore the auction. At first it seemed like an arbitrary end date. I never would have thought the ride would be done this fast.

Careful, Jason. You're going to feel the wrath of Jeff pretty soon for suggesting the park is lying to us. As soon as they know ANYTHING, they tell us immediately. You should know this already. :)

Apparently there is a problem with the corn dog batter. All corn dog sales are suspended until further notice. We are working with Golden Dipt, the batter supplier, to engineer a new type of batter. This process will take several months as we just discovered the problem tonight. Wait. Whats that? Oh. The new batter is in. Corn Dog sales will begin this weekend. The new corn dogs will be available for the first tasters as early as Friday. Bidding ends tomorrow.
