I know this is a huge zombie thread, but just had to ask. Does anyone on here ever just take a break from the roller coasters and just walk alongside of Magnum XL 200? I like doing this once in a while when the park is busy just to take a nice walk, take some pictures of Magnum, and enjoy the Lake Erie beach.
Shawn, you and your zombie threads. :P

I tend to take that path around twenty after four when I'm staying on point ;)

vwhoward, I was reading this post and thinking the same thing. It was a beautiful evening at twenty past four last summer!
hmmm.... Interesting. I have been down that path before but its been a number of years. I am usually sitting in my car 20 minutes after 4. I might have to take a stroll under Magnum next week.

I've never done this before, but where would I go to start walking on the path, and can you walk all the way down to Magnum's loops?

Yup. It's path leads to Sandcastle Suites. The beach to your left, Magnum on your right. Assuming you're walking away from the Breakers.

The path starts at the end of the boardwalk along the beach by breakers, basically right at the end of the Bon Aire section. It winds its way along the edge of soak city and then along the edge of Magnum right by the first tunnel. It continues on to Sandcastle suites.
If your walking away from breakers the beach is actually on your right (east), soak city/magnum is on your left (west).
