Yeah, it is. It's normally for the people staying in the hotels, but you can walk down that way. It's a very peaceful walk.

Yeah, it's a great walk -- goes all the way out to Sandcastle Suites. You can get some very nice views of the Magnum turnaround from out there, and not so many people know about it, so it isn't very crowded most of the time. It's a lot of fun to walk out there after dark, even if the coaster isn't running. Just one of those nice "little-known" things about the park!

You can follow it all the way to Lighthouse Point. We walked it one evening. It was great....

I also walked it several times this year but always seem to forget the camera. It is my second all time favorite place(next to Magnum's station...) at the Point. I never realized how many trees are between Magnum and the beach and just how tall the bunny hops on Magnum are.

Also I think you can order drinks from the Swin Up bar. Plus there is a little patio to sit down right on the path next to the swim up bar.

And whoever ever gets my Boardwalk walk...they'll know I love 'em...

God I love the Boardwalk. There's a certain rock out there by Magnum that I always sit on...you'll know it because it has my name on it :)

I know this is a huge zombie thread, but just had to ask. Does anyone on here ever just take a break from the roller coasters and just walk alongside of Magnum XL 200? I like doing this once in a while when the park is busy just to take a nice walk, take some pictures of Magnum, and enjoy the Lake Erie beach.

hmmm.... Interesting. I have been down that path before but its been a number of years. I am usually sitting in my car 20 minutes after 4. I might have to take a stroll under Magnum next week.

I've never done this before, but where would I go to start walking on the path, and can you walk all the way down to Magnum's loops?

Yup. It's path leads to Sandcastle Suites. The beach to your left, Magnum on your right. Assuming you're walking away from the Breakers.

The path starts at the end of the boardwalk along the beach by breakers, basically right at the end of the Bon Aire section. It winds its way along the edge of soak city and then along the edge of Magnum right by the first tunnel. It continues on to Sandcastle suites.

If your walking away from breakers the beach is actually on your right (east), soak city/magnum is on your left (west).
