It's been quite a while since you all were happy.
Maybe a drone would help? ;0
Promoter of fog.
Hire a drone operator and make it a live view of a 4th webcam view. That would be incredible.

We've had a very helpful view that included the front parking lot for some time and they just changed it since last night.
According to this Facebook page, traffic was backed up on to Rt 2 this morning.

Also multiple accidents, people arguing in traffic, and apparently a drunk dude at Castaway Bay that they had to call for backup for since all of Sandusky's finest are tied up in the other BS. In other words, sounds like a great day to not go anywhere near the park.

I had considered going in for early admission, riding some stuff and then leaving when things got bad but my son wants to do the haunts so that wasn't going to work my feet won't last that long. I warned him and then I showed him the webcam and then he pulled up some google traffic app on his ipad and every major route to the park was nothing but red lines so we aren't going. That video footage of the traffic is insane. I think we'll just go twice for the last weekend Friday so far looks like high of 58 and scattered showers that should thin the crowds out a little I hope. I'm willing to ride in a coat with a poncho if that's what it takes but I'm not dealing with this.
But then you have the rain policy. “That’s some catch, that Catch-22”,
“A catch like no other”- Doc Daneeka
I'll take my chances with the rain policy at least the indoor haunts would be open and if I decide to leave it wouldn't take hours to get out. I'm really hoping for just crappy enough but not too crappy weather.
Anyone have a screenshot of today's crazy crowd? Some facebook pages were saying the people looked like ants because there were so many people.
Not screenshots, but here's an idea.
The first is the traffic down the causeway and then to the east down Cleveland Road toward Rye Beach Road.

The second is some drone footage of backups toward downtown Sandusky.

Catch-22 or not, I really hope it rains Sat. We are staying at the Breakers, but I REALLY don't want to deal with that (We are coming through Sandusky). I'm thinking about just eating the $50.00 cancellation fee.
Cam 3 this morning is pointed at TTD close up where a guy is walking one of the bridge walks after coming up the elevator:
Edit: He just moved up a level and appears to be spotting for a guy shimmying the yellow support. I'm not really scared of highest but I would be if I was either one of these guys!
Looks like 3 people working up there- two on the yellow support ( possibly tourqueing nuts and bolts?) and one that looks like he's screwing around with one of the white lights.
No no no, they are loosening the bolts in preparation to extend TTD to over 500 ft! Duh!
Kidding aside, that's got to be a cold day up there.
