Why is only half the site grass? The side closer to the road is just dirt. Looks pretty bad!

So why are the web cams pointing to nothing,Is it like shamefull to see an empty midway or the rides.

That's exactly why they aren't pointed at the park.

With the power restored, maybe all the park employees are riding everything right now!

Well I kind of find this interesting. Camera 3 is pointing at Millennium Force Island and the former Shoot the Rapids area. I wonder If something is getting ready to happen in that area. It could just be coincidence.

I'm not much of a betting man, but I'd put everything on "there's no reason why it's pointing that way". ;)

I'm pretty sure that if something was going to happen in those areas (especially the Shoot the Rapids area), we'd have a better view.

Yeah you guys are right. I just wish they would do something with that area because It's a ride I cherished and seeing it half way demolished makes me sad in a way. The only way I'll completely move on is when they start making noise over there.

I don't expect anything to happen at the STR site next year as I think we will see a Soak City expansion along with something happening to MS. I see something going there in 18. Hopefully it is a new flume that doesn't get you drenched like everyone originally wanted.

^ I think this is just coincidence but, Camera 3 is pointed at the former station and mist tunnel of Shoot the Rapids. I wish they would have pointed it more at Rougarou.

How is it a coincidence? The camera is also pointed at everything in the mid to back section of the park? Could just be pointing in that area because it's a cool view...... ;)

Last night we watched the fireworks on Camera 2. It could have been aimed a little higher but was still a nice show.

There must be something in the air in Ohio. The weather is nice, but the clouds from Sandusky to my town in Akron just looks funky I want to say.

Watched it tonight, and I agree with Bluestreaker. A little higher would've been nice, but since I couldn't see fireworks here at home it was great to see them over the webcams at CP. (I can only imagine what viewing them upside down on Maxair would've been like! )

Watched the fireworks in person tonight, from the parking lot. Great show! I wondered if they moved the camera up.

Best spot for the fireworks are from the GK Plaza! Amazing for pictures too!
