Lights in the dark

There will be a lighting package in the tunnel, the details of which have not been shared.

In the tunnel?

I thought that they wanted to keep the tunnel dark.

Apparently not if they've got a lighting package for it. ;)

I think there's some lighting effects that would work well without ruining the "darkness".

I think that something like a tunnel beam would be kind of cool. Of course they should also put in a haze machine to enhance it as well.

Not haze, maybe more like mist. I always know when I am going through Magnum's tunnel, I am always expecting mist and get a mouth full of fog. Doesnt taste that great.

Man, I was hoping for a pitch black tunnel too. Hopefully it will be a cool lighting "package". LOL!!

Maybe it'll be something along the lines of what you'd see in an old mine (lanterns, but not "real" lanterns).....with dimly lit lights that stop at a certain point before you turn.

That would be awesome. Everytime you watch the webcam, you'd see a train come by every 2 minutes.

Ha! I wonder though about the set up for the outdoor lights. I'm sure the horseshoe will be illuminated to death, but what else would they highlight, and what about colors? Normal light? Red light? Are they using flood lights or something new? Whatever they do, I'm sure they'll do it well.
