Launch side going higher

This topic may be short lived, but for those who can't access the webcam during daylight hours: This morning another 50' or so of red and white launch track has been added to the tower. It now reaches the mount on the 5th (currently the top) box of the tower. Maybe someone can link to a screen capture.

Can anyone tell if the track is starting to curve.

WOW! It's looking good! The red and white illusion is going to look very awesome going at warp speeds! How exciting!

I saw this too just a few minutes ago. It looks as if the track that is going up now is twisted, and it is definately vertical.

I dont see it twisting either.....

I can't tell if it's twisting or not but based on what we know about the tower I would put money on the fact that it's twisting.

Even with my glasses on, I'm lucky to see the track.

However, if you look at the supports that were attached to the tower weeks ago, you have to believe that the pieces they put up today have to be twisting.

BTW, has anyone else had trouble accessing VirtualMidway today? Did Huron get hit hard by last night's storm? Maybe Walt's power is out.

Yes!! All day it was down for me. Those storms were bad last night!

If you look closely, you can see it's angled out about 10 degrees. Also it's not nearly as twited as the other side.

How can you see the brakes from that far away?

Pry from when we were at the park when some of it was up..... Some people are so dang stubborn...

I was at the park too, and I took a bunch of pix. What do the brakes look like?

IF you were there and took pics then why are you asking about the brakes...and how they look like. The Brakes are THERE and connected to the far side of the tower.
