Just Got Back From Seeing TTD In Person

I remember driving down the Causeway, just past the trees seeing MF pop out and my jaw hitting the floor. It was incredable. I can't wait to see Dragster in person.
Wow, that's quite a drive veilslide6. Honestly, for you, I don't think it's worth it.

Okay John, learn how to spell and the difference between to, too, and two. Once you learn how to do that try to figure out the difference between do and due. After that maby, just maby you will be able to post something respectable. Its okay, we all make mistakes.

You sit there and crack on John, yet you can't even spell maybe...or maby in your language.

I live in Albion veilsaide and I drive down to Cedar Point every year to ride the rides and I also drove down there to see TTD and let me tell you it's worth it buddy.
Even more impressive is being able to see it on route 250 heading north between the turnpike and route 2. A good 10-12 miles away.

To answer many questions asked of my post.

First off, sorry about any spelling errors or typos on my part. Second, seeing TTD in person was worth the 1 1/2-2 hour drive. The first time we saw it was, going over a bridge right near the Rye Beach Rd exit on I-90. Coming from 250 we saw it when we went on the bridge to make that right turn to go to CP. If you go over the causeway, you are not allowed past the guard station. What you need to do is take Cedar Point Rd, which takes you by the lake. This is the other entrance. If coming from I-90, get off at the Rye Beach Rd exit. When you come from that way, you can see TTD for a little bit, but, when you get to the parking lot area, you're on the other side of the guard booth. You'll be at the back end of the parking lot & can get a great view of TTD & all of CP. We thought of taking the road that goes around CP to the marina & hotel, but, decided against it, as there was a cop car sitting right there. Once I get my pictures back, I'll see what I can do about getting someone to post them for me. Any other questions, feel free to ask here by posting them or contact me directly.

I was visiting my lover in sandusky and WOW ! TTD is Huge ! I think the yellow and red colors really makes the coaster stand out on the skyline...

WOOF !

On a clear day, I think you've always been able to see MF straight ahead as soon as you're on 250 headed North after getting off the Turnpike. I always come in from Rye Beach Road now, but I did the Turnpike-250 thing once last year coming from the west and I saw MF up there. I'd imagine Dragster will also be visible.

I could see MF shortly after I got off the turnpike on 250 but it was a few more miles before I saw Dragster. I first noticed it just to the left of a water tower while driving up 250. I was the only one in the car that saw it from that far but then again I was the only one that knew what to look for. I just couldn't blieive how awesome it looked towering above everything. (when I got to the park that is) I got some good pictures from an open spot directly across the bay from MF. I don't know the name of the road I was on but it was after all the CP dorms and all the marinas.

Jeez "Wyatt Sales" due you have a stick jammed up your a$$ and are to scared too admit it?
He has been a negative nancy ever since I've noticed him posting here. In fact, a lot of his posts are removed. Anyway, I think I will take a drive over there. I need a fix before may.
Negative Nancy? Man, Veilside6, I don't know you, but after that comment, you are my new favorite person. The world would be a better place if people went back to using old school comments like that. Way to be.

Will: It's good to see you man.
Ross: Yeah, you too. Man, so-so what are you up to?
Will: I'm a commodities broker.
Ross: Really? Yeah that-that sounds interesting.
Will: Yeah, it's not. But I'm rich and thin.

i can't wait to go for my season pass photo! hopefully they will be firing it off that day oh please oh please!
About the guard station, when I went to check it out, I just told the guard we were just taking a look at the new ride and he gladly let me through to drive as far into the parking lot as I wanted. I'm not sure what they think about the perimeter road though.

Enjoy your ride on the Big Bad Bug

The gaurd wouldn't let me past the gate!! I even asked if I could pull over to the right and stay in his view just to look at it for a few minutes and he said no. Oh well, May will be here soon and PKI opens in April. At least I can go there to get a rollercoaster fix before CP opens.

I only get one day off a week so a drive to CP to see the TTD before we ride it is a nice thought but I will wait for 5/10 and ride it that weekend. Its a shame I cant get up there earlier because it would almost be worth the drive....
