I think that THIS picture just about confirms that the station will be near the walkway (where the blue cases are in this pic), go down a little and turn into the lift hill, which will be the other long row of footers we've seen in the middle of the site:
http://pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4604
I think it stills leaves room for a duel-load station though as the decline in footers still seems to the side of at least one row of them.
I'm also excited to start seeing taller and thicker supports, not just little turns anymore.
That area looks very confusing right now. It looks like they are creating more then that down there. It almost looks like they are trying to create a pond underneath the station.
One thing is for sure... those piles of dirt are new :) *** Edited 7/30/2006 6:11:21 PM UTC by BGRooDoG***

I'm getting tired of everyone getting excited about piles of dirt.
Every time they start on new footers, they have to dig a hole. Therefore they have piles of dirt. A lot of dirt was displaced when they started on this:
http://pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=4604
Just like when they started these footers:
http://www.pointbuzz.com/gallery.aspx?i=4587
They dug up a lot of dirt and it looked like this:

Just because you see a few piles of dirt, doesn't mean they are putting in a pond.

I think BGRooDoG was kinda of being sarcastic when he said that the piles of dirt were new. He was just making a little joke at how everyone does get excited over small, meaningless stuff. No need to be mean and bring him down. It was just a joke!

I'm not being mean. I'm just stating facts. BGRooDog was not the first person to mention the idea of a pond.
The intent of a person posting on a forum is expressed with puncuation or capitolization. If I wanted to be mean I would have typed in caps or used an exclamation point like you did.
When people want to be sarcastic they use a winking smiley like this ;) Otherwise how are people ever suposed to know when your serious or not.
Since he didn't, I could only conclude BGRooDoG was serious.
And perhaps if he wasn't you could let him respond instead of making assumptions and speaking for him.

I'm sorry, I mean't the tan supports...not footers. I was curious if the workers could just lift some of the smaller ones onto the footers. I'm sure they need a crane for the taller ones though.
No, they can't just lift any of them.

Oh by the way, while at the staging area, I tried counting the pieces of track. I think there's about 84 pieces on site. And although I didn't bring my tape measure, I did pace off a piece of track that was sitting next to the fence. Although it's not exactly accurate, I do it quite a bit. I'm in construction. The track pieces are about 30' long.84 pieces x 30' = 2520' of track (so far)
this could be all the track used..... look at these lengths:

thats if his calculations are correct...that might be the majority,if not all, the track
