job updates on alum

I drive cars for ebay during the off season. Its a new gig for me but i like it. I work when i want for as long or short as I want. I have been to 35 different states since closing day, I just wish that I could go ride the roller coasters that i see from the highway.

was there the annual and infamous X-mas party at Louie's this past week or so??

I went a few years back with some old co workers and it was ridiculously fun. The place was packed like a can of sardines with alums from all different years (but mostly the current year) and everyone was blitzed out of their mind and covered in sweat and beer. Gross but memorable.

What made "the" highlight of the evening was this guy named Chris who formerly worked for ESD a good decade or "more" ago..had a nose the size of Rhode Island..and was eternally sunburnt. He was always such a pompous, conceited son of a *&^%# who made snide, homophobic comments to me under his breath. I saw him at the X-mas party and he was obviously intoxicated and acted like my long lost best friend. He then slid a hotel room key into my pocket with a slip of paper that had his name and cell # on it. My friends and I laughed until we almost peed.

I think that "that" memory was the cherry on the sundae for that reunion evening.

I have a feeling that if I went back "now" that I would feel as if I was babysitting. I'd love nothing more than to see some of my former co-workers, but I think our glory days have been passed on to the younger set...even though I am only 32. **SIGH**.

Season 5 is coming up for me, and right now I'm just working around my house, and keeping my 2 sons on time for school. The oldest is looking forward to his first season in 2009. I was TL in merch for 2007, and I'm totally looking forward to 2008!
