Plus Ive been there on days when its snowed in October, that didnt stop the throngs from being there ;).
Why is it that the same weather that gets everyone pumped out to go to Halloweekends in the fall turns off people from going in the spring?
Please dont take that question too seriously, I one day at CP when it was that cold was enough. I did not enjoy having to put on 7 layers, two winter hats and huge puffy gloves in order to enjoy my midnight Magnum rides.
My all time favorite trip ever to the park included 40 degree temperature which meant 7 layers were necessary. It was ridiculous, but that's what made it fun.
Here's how I see it. When it hits 60+ degrees in April everyone whips out the shorts and t-shirts since it is "warm out". When it hits 60+ in August/September everyone whips out the sweatshirts.
We're ready for the warm weather now, but in Sept/Oct. we're ready for it to cool down.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I agree with that, actually I get sun sick, so I can't go on days when it's really hot. I went one year back in the 80's when I was a kid, 5 people crammed into a Dodge Omni, had the hatchback down and got so sick from the heat I just puked up water all day long.. last time I'll ever go to Cedar Point in that kind of heat.
Needless to say, I went back with my mom to the hotel for the rest of the day in the nice air conditioned room we had.
Must be no one cares to celebrate the one year aniversary of the snowstorm on April 11th? well, in Lansing, anyway. :)
