Another great year has come and gone. Even though this was my first year as a Screamster, I had a blast. I just want to thank all my fellow Screamsters for doing such a great job and working non-stop to scare the visitors. I look forward to scaring with you again next year (even though its so far away!!!) Take care and keep in touch!!!

Just got back from from spending Friday-Sunday. Great weekend with lots of coaster rides. Weather wasnt too bad for early November. Hate to see the season over already but my wife and I had a great season at the Point. We even ran into Dick Kinzel in the Soak City parking lot and had a few words with him as we were leaving this afternoon.

It would be bone chilling if someone were to play TAPS at the final ride of the season.
I would pay to see this. Someone bring a trumpet next year.

I am not sure what my plans are for next year.
Cedar Point was "really expensive" this year....
Gasoline was just incredibly painful @ $100 spent per visit to the point.
2 back 2 back days of just riding maxair, magnum, ttd, maverick, millennium force, skyhawk, gemini, power tower, and maybe wicked twister gets boring and by the time the water park opens up the park is pretty much getting in full swing and its really a gamble as to if the park will have slow lines.I consider staying a night but the reasons above make me debate if it will just burn me out and I will get bored with the park.
Nothing says like a waste of money like spending all that money on gasoline just to be confronted with 1.5 hour lines for the big three.
I need to make more use of my home park (MIA) I think to improve the value of the pass.
I am interested to hear what parks will receive for upgrades. Additional themeing / retheming areas, updating facilities, and the future of Cedar Fair with the economy in the state that it is.
Who knows what kind of expansion Cedar Fair can afford with the economy. If we cannot get a flat or two at some parks that need it than at the very most I think theming and facility updates should be done.
The park did make some nice gestures to incorporate Peanuts in to the park more, and maybe they will do this in other parks.
I think a little can go a long way with themeing and facility updates. Also I wonder how the hibachi restaurant went over in Breakers. Did it hit it off?
I hope to hear some news.
